It's funny I thought Talia has been off all year compared to his normal self and at times appeared slow when following his opponent on the lead. I thought it was because he had bulked up a little but I think his back is playing up and that's what caused the issue with his hamstring. The weekend was the most free I have seen him all year so I wonder whether that was because he got the correct treatment or he just played on some good pain killers? Either way we'll see.

Sloane is the one we cant afford to lose. Sauce for a season would hurt too. Anyone else for a month or less can be covered if its only one or two of them.

We have only used 25 players so far this year, so once again we have had a good run with injury. Hopefully it continues

Read an article today that was talking about how our list management was scoffed at for suggesting natural improvement would cover the non-recruitment of Gibbs.

Apparently 22 of the 25 players used this year have improved according to champion data.

I find that stat incredible. No wonder we are playing so well at the moment.

Hopefully it can continue!

Looking like the only person to lose out on the non Gibbs deal is Gibbs.

Although Sloane has been a standout player this season, there is plenty of onball coverage for him.

This is true. One of the areas that I thought the crows would struggle with, but there depth in that area looks good. M.Crouch has stepped up again and also looks like B.Crouch is able to stay on the park which helps as well.

Agree, mid 2000's (2006?) Crows were playing exactly like this and didn't make the GF.

In 2006 Ian Perrie and Ken McGregor were the key forwards...

Just checked, in 2006 they went on a 13-1 run after Round 2 but then bumped into WCE in the prelim (who finished top) due to WCE losing their home qualifying final against Sydney by a point.

I remember McGregor ending a game with -2 DT points, if yo had him captain he would've been worth -4.
