In her first media interview the Mum was talking about the option of her pleading guilty to reduce the sentence, if she wasn't guilty would wouldn't consider that until further down the track surely...initial reaction would be she is innocent we need to work hard to prove that.

No mention of her so called employer either, the media would have tracked them down by now also.....

Well the thing is, if she pleads guilty, she'll get 6 years.

If she pleads innocent, she'll have to wait up to 4 years for the trial, and then gets found guilty, she'll get between 12-18.

No win situation.

She was a personal trainer it was said, although, not to be unkind, mug shots taken by the Policia Nacional may not support that theory.
This sort of story will crop up time and again. Always someone who will play the odds. Serving time overseas would be horrendous.
