There is a reason no opposition tries to lock him down. Just doesn't hurt teams. Champion data had him as only the 11th best rated player on the ground

He was the same at the swans. Massive accumulated but never was hugely damaging

Flicking stations last night and tuned back in at 3qt when it was level.
Lingyvmade thay exact point about Mitchell.
He had 40ish??? But Lingy said he basically got them in poor areas and that hr needed to be more effective.
So he may go in the book for his 50 possessions....but give Josh Kennedy, Sloane, Watson, Ablett all 50 and their teams are winning

Pendles had 36 and was head and shoulders above Mitchell. One passage in the first Mitchell had 4 touches in about 15 seconds, all little 1-2 handball gives that went nowhere

If Sloane, Watson, Ablett or Kennedy got 40 let alone 50, you'd be in some trouble.

Surely thats something that can be coached though? Teach him to run in the right areas etc?

He obviously has the talent to find the ball, but just needs to get it in better areas.

Dangerfield was a little bit similar a few years ago

How long has he been in the system now?
Can't see him ever changing. He can't kick over a jam tin and isn't great in the air and is fairly slow so he is always going to be a limited player. He is great at winning balls in tight spaces and that's his game. 50 touches for 300 meters, that's a lot of needless little handball gives

Dont care what he does with it, its all about supercoach and fantasy, he scores very well there. That and the punt, had Collingwood as part of a 6 leg multi to win by 12.5 +. 2 legs to go. Eases the pain very much, we'll be back next year, start putting the guys in for surgery now, come back for a big pre season, There is clearly a massive fatigue factor from playing so deep into finals for so long, it has to catch up with you at some point.

You're right, and you know it's going to be bad when there are 2 free kicks in first 10 secs.

First was absolutely there but Joe dived for the second. Looks like they are hot in the back because I thought Leuey should of been paid the mark

Thought that one was unlucky to get called, didn't effect Wellingham at all.

Maybe it's time West Coast got in front of their opponents to be in the best position for a free kick?
