Question of the day.
Is Salisbury West's Nick Kershaw (9), the biggest, dirtiest thug in D6R?

He's right you know Zed.. few should be playing higher - like the Pulteney recruits fresh out of the SANFL system ;)

Don't know whether you're being flippant or not - 21 scoring shots to 15, 4.5 2nd qtr to Pulteney, lost after the siren.

I would think wasted opportunities are the major reason your boys lost.

Guess Saturday would've been a big shock playing blokes who can move, as opposed to the witches hats you've had to play in the opening 6 rounds. ;)

Didn't Pulteney's reserves win the D5R flag last year while their A's got relegated?

I caught the ressies game at Argana on Saturday and it was a great contest, I really enjoyed it. Great win, Eags!
Lead changes throughout. Pulteney's brain fade by two players on the goal line in the dying seconds proved the difference.
Also, apart from occasionally stepping in to make decisions when the Elizabeth umpire had control, I thought the Pulteney umpire did a pretty good job.
Something to do with a SAAFL official being there to watch, perhaps?

Must give some credit to Salisbury West 'B' grade - apart from Kershaw lol.

Undermanned heading into the game, lost a player in the opening minutes to injury, and by quarter time I don't think they had a bench as their players bodies failed them.

They continued to battle hard, were still physical around the contest and their ball use when they had it was generally of a good standard - just lacked depth and general fitness.

Their #6 who i'm told was his first game ever was an exceptional find! If he keeps playing wont be long till his in the 1's, and the young athletic kid who rucked - #14 - O'Neil i think it was, he was very good all day as well.

100pt win for Ingle Farm, but a lot of very very sore and tired bodies in the rooms after the game!

Was the brain fade by the Pulteney players not grabbing the spare footy next to the post and actually letting the ump collect the ball in use and use that?

Hey Zartan, got your boots nice and clean for the hitout in a couple of weeks time. I've heard through the grapevine that you've pretty much sown up the resies medal for best player in Div 6R.

Well now, that would be a pretty incredible effort I must say

Unfortunately don't know anyone who have won the medal from playing 1 game.. ;)

Salisbury West i think will out run Ingle Farm while i think on paper ingle farm side looks stronger i still think they have a lot of individual players rather then team players

i think top of the table clash will be 4-5 goal win to either side it will come down to 5-10 minutes of play during 3rd or 4th quarter that gets either of them that win

Looks like that last game last year burnt deeply going by the scores at Fitzroy Saturday. :-s

Zartan Predicts
* Houghton will defeat Salisbury West this weekend, condemning them to relegation.
* West Croydon will miss the finals.
* McIntyre will kick 100 goals this season.
* Oldman to post another 10 times before the seasons over, announcing every other club as the "best side" and "team to beat" in D6R.
