After watching AFL 360 perhaps it was 'Lunatic Fringe' that was ripping into the club according to Chris Scott.....

Port don't play wide, so whatever stadium it's called now won't hurt us as it hurts sides who try to run down the wings. Geelong boxed the Dogs in on Friday night, we like to run through the middle so not as much of a concern for us. When the Dogs were brave and direct ( 3rd quarter ) they piled on the sausage rolls.

I'm quite bullish about our chances.

Can't wait for Selwood/Selwood/Dangerfield v Wines/Ebert/SPP don't go in there if you're faint hearted.

Couldn't win on your own deck against Jonathan Giles who is a far bigger spud than Smith. Cats by 25.

Our midfield is better.

West Coast's forward line much more efficient than the Cats.

I think it was in the third quarter last week, Smith had two helpers in the defensive goal square and managed to drop a sitter and hand a goal to Redpath. Classic Smith.

I haven't seen Booney this confident since the end of the 2007 minor round.

Wasn't confident then at all in 2007.

We finished as high as we did pretty much by default. We won 5 games by 5,7,5,5, and 3 points. We then beat West Coast by only 3 points in the first final and faced a pretty bog ordinary North Melbourne in the home prelim beating them by 20 goals to 5. We were the unfortunate lambs to the slaughter that day.

History in the making, indeed.

As much as I don't like to praise your mob, I thought you were the clear second best side of the year. Yes, Collingwood gave us a fright on Prelim Final night but anyone rating Collingwood over Port has clearly forgotten Port's win over Hawthorn in Tassie, over Geelong at Geelong and over Collingwood at the MCG. Small margins in some yes, but tougher matches than Collingwood had to contend with. They didnt' go to Tassie or Geelong.

Collingwood's fighting performance in the Prelim did Port no favours on Grand Final.

Don't they kiss his arse? I still think we'd be a better side with a decent coach.

Wouldn't surprise me if Port got up, they've been the most consistent team this year IMHO and we have been the least.

Is it just me or are any of you guys getting frustrated with Menzel? I'm sorry young fella, but you're no Stevie J so stop trying to be him.

That is what we were trying to do but Richmond were too smart. In the end Caddy had to go for salary cap reasons. Caddy is not as talented but Motlop just doesn't work hard enough often enough. Travis Varcoe was shopped for much less.

I thought he has bee fairly good for them lately. Has kicked 27.9 this season. Kicked 2 last week with 15 touches. As a forward hes in the game.

The only thing frustrating about Menzel is the amount of football he has missed. I'm convinced he could have been a dead set gun if he didn't cop those recos. Maybe even better than Johnson.
