The video footage of Hay is hardly worthy of his life ban.

Would be interested to know what exactly happened to trigger 16! ****.

IIRC it was a jumper punch struggle with him and another opponent (from what i remember it was the opponent who initiated the tussle) when Ant headbutted the player from very very very close range.

The force wasn't great and the opposition player played out the rest of the game sustaining no injuries.

Ant notified everyone that he could not attend the tribunal due to new employment. Smithfield failed to organised a representative from the club to attend therefore no one fronted the tribunal for the case.

This was around the time Smithfield were on strict penalties and were close to not having any football sides.

Thank you!

Would be mid 20's, ex West Adelaide footballer. He was a league regular in 2015 but did his ACL in pre-season last year.
Handy pickup for the Eagles.

Hearing some major injuries Saturday in the league? Thoughts on the Association game June 10th.

Heard Jason Earl had a severe concussion. Apparently was in a pretty bad way, didn't remember getting his missus pregnant when he saw her in the changerooms or something like that?

Dylan Wise's scaphoid fracture pretty severe, coupled with a dislocation and torn ligaments. Out for at least three months. Right hand too. Ack.

Then Zak Schubert (Hamley) was apparently belted behind play and suffered his second concussion in a month, although I'm told it was a square up from an earlier alleged kicking incident, and he would have missed two anyway through suspension.

To end the Anthony Rossack saga.

He has been cleared by United to play at Elizabeth this year and is expecting to take the field this week.

Good to see the Landmark Cup program this yr at Gladstone is a lot better programed with all U17 games first and done before the A grade program starts, not so much of a huge break between the grades games.
