Add these to the other rumours floating about.
Flies to Ammos.
Shoes to GSFL
Bushpigs and Vikings to HFL

Will make it easy to make the top 5 at this rate.
GSFL looks a close knit 10 team league. I can't see them excepting any northern neighbors. unless they take the Sharks with them to make an even 12.

Flies to the ammos. I've heard this one to. Source was reasonably credible.
As the pro club they are they'd be derelict in their duty not to have discussed it at committee level.
Ballsy forward thinking if they did!

Yup, 10 teams, two rounds of 19 games. 18 weeks plus a four week final series. Allows for weekends off for public holidays and any other rep fixtures.

Would take a current team to fall over before they let anyone else in.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

For half a game they were in a position to win on Saturday but another opportunity gone. Would like to see some of the lads who are willing to put their head over the ball be given a chance.
Can't remember a time when the only teams below them were Lonsdale and Marion.

F&C when we played Valley in round 2 they where young and had a crack .
As for the table with Lonsdale and Marion this is not a true reflection with the draw as is .

I don't make the comment lightly SB.
We showed more on our attack on the ball in game against you. Our youngsters have plenty of talent but lack intensity.
Yes we have some injuries as would every club by now and I know Reynella were depleted to some extent on Saturday.
At the moment we have 2 wins 7 rounds into the season.
Our next month see us play Port Noarlunga, Cove and Christies Beach and I estimate we need to win all 3 to make finals given we also play Reynella again, Flagstaff Hill, Morphett Vale and Noarlunga before the end of the season.

Aren't Lonsdale and Marion the only 2 teams you've beat F&C?
I think it is what it is then , as Aldinga and a undermanned Flies have got over ya in last 2 weeks.

Round 8 tips:

Sinners to beat the Lionbears for the 2nd week in a row
Spitting Cobras over the AdFL Flies
HFL Bushpigs to flex their muscles & defeat the Sharks
Marion should forfeit against the Shoes to save everyone wasting their afternoon
Cockledivers too strong for Vikings in the Friday night extravaganza @ Porties
Emus have the bye

Some of the ex Mitchell Park boys been showing some interest in leaving Marion and returning to the Den............was wondering how long it would take.

I have two trains of thought.

1 - It's difficult to play footy at 100% week in week out knowing full well you won't get within cooee of the other team. May want to go back to where the grass is greener. Maybe things that were promised to them haven't come to fruition.

2 - But if you make a commitment, you stick it out. You don't jump ship when the going gets tough.

I'll refrain from commenting further as I'm that far away from what's going on at the club the moment. Will be a tough rest of 2017 for the Rams if they do depart.

Since they're contracted I doubt Marion would be willing to part ways.

Especially since they paid a reasonable sum of money for all their subs, gear and other costs.

Two of the three who have contacted the B grade coach are currently playing A grade.

Have heard they are getting good numbers on the track to training's 35+ for A & B grade is pretty solid for this time of year, especially for a side that gets pumped week in week out, that must be a good sign that the players in general are buying in.

I believe the SFL played at KI over the w/end with under 15 / 21 and a girls 14 side?

I am led to believe the Girls side was coached by the lady that is on the board of the SFL from H/Valley and has never coached?
Was the 14 girls all from H/Valley and the coaches daughter played yet has never played?
The assistant coach was A grade coach from H/Valley and did his daughter play?
How was the game?

Almost mid-year and a few A grade Resume's being delivered/ supplied to approx.- 3 or4 of our 11 SFL clubs is the goss at the moment.
We may see quite a few changes at a few clubs in 2018.
