We can all vote on to dismiss AV, might as well dismiss junior association as well (yes the APFL is more than just A Grade, though you wouldn't know it) and then what??? I hope all you powers to be have a good 5yr plan for the APFL to survive?? Or do we go back to just limping along yr after yr, I know I don't hold much credit in this league( or here) but being around the APFL 22yrs I would hate to see it disappear in the future and clubs along with it, yep-really hope you guys have a good idea hiding somewhere.

It might seem cynical but everyone was told that last year. This year. Next year.

I do think it will happen but you have to understand there's reason for scepticism.

Dare I ask why you think the APFL is all about the A grade and not the juniors? And perhaps how you think losing 3k a week if good for the Association? Maybe we should have put more effort into assistance to sustain the current clubs instead of the easy solution of replacing them ?

Just like it has been the last 2 years. Only evidence you can go by is what you have provided in the past.

Going on OnSongs figures clubs are losing $3,000 each time they host AV instead of hosting another club. That's $24,000 a year that the clubs are poorer combined than they would have been 2 years ago.

Clubs don't have to raise funds to pay players during a bye either.

Did he yell at them and hurt their feelings after dropping 2 games in a row? Make them train too hard?

Sounds like Greg Phillips all over again, sacked by the players after he upset them

I know the Rams have new captains etc but this sounds a bit extreme to be true. Surely.

He's the U14s coach too, who are flying of late, especially considering they've struggled with this grade for a long time.

Virginia are holding a function to celebrate Thomas' 1000th game as player/coach next week too.

When we had the bye - we still played 8 home and 8 away game = 16 games, only over a season that was drawn out over a longer period
