But even if they get relegated. They are the side that's spent the longest time without relegation. By a fair way as well.
As for James Hay. He didn't call the umpire a cheat. SN were crucified.
A TTG player punched a SN player and James told the umpire
"If that was f***en us you would red carded us"
And the umpire took that as calling a cheat and red carded him.

If you swear at an umpire and suggest he is umpiring the game differently from one team to the other, I wouldn't expect him to want to be your mate either.

Such a general statement - ignoring abuse is not acceptableLightning McQueen wrote:ezydoesitbigfella wrote:YOU ARE KIDDING? Precious? - what a dinosaur.

He wasn't called a cheat, he was given an example. YOU ARE 100% INCORRECT - was called a F&cking cheat!
Given that the umpire would've been aware of the repercussions of the report and if he was in no way spoken to in a threatening manner then I think it could've been handled differently. Umpire abuse is umpire abuse - simple. You dont know the full facts - but that is something you seem to overlook?
I generally get along well with the players I umpire and can accept some criticism out there, I'll discuss my opinion with them once the play is handed over and if we're near each other. Criticism is different to being called a f&cking cheat
The best umpires go un-noticed.

i agree with that. Don't give the ump a chance to red card you. But its abbot softTrader wrote:Q. wrote:the joker wrote:A TTG player punched a SN player and James told the umpire

I hope the team shows a little more respect towards SPOC that you do. Salisbury North are entitled to be favourites, but SPOC have been knocking on the door for a win and are more than capable of causing an upset.

No worries mate, I was basing my judgement on "the joker's" version of events who appeared to have been there.
I wasn't there so I can't debate your opinion, if he was called "A F***** Cheat" then it does change the scenario.

Nah, SN coming down won't change anything. Brighton are winning the 2018 Div 2 flag.
