Easily entertained there Wedge. Heard one killers song, heard them all.

Exactly mate, I'm extremely easily entertained and despite that still cant stand bogan contemporary rock.

Would prefer PJ over the Killers, although PJ have plenty of dross in their back catalogue IMHO with a few gems scattered amongst them.

Whilst I am a fossill in my 40s (and proud of it, would hate to be Gen Y), if theyre still doing concerts and played on the radio theyre still contemporary. Having said that I normally associate "contemporary" with bland, boring, monotonous and tame music rather than its true definition.
Anyway, if a Western Sydney or Queensland team makes the NRL Grand Final theyll be well suited so it could be smart programming by the NRL.
And I and others who like to be entertained and not bored to death are looking forward to the Killers at the AFL GF. Hopefully a win/win.

Pearl jam by a mile, BUT I do like the killers and pretty happy with who the AFL got. Huge improvement

The AFL easily.

The NRL need the big names to entertain the masses, the AFL has the game to do that.

Doubtful if true but saw this

Another day, another rumour! Sources suggesting Carlton may be into out of favour forward turned ruckman and former Adelaide Crow Kurt Tippett.

How much would this man straighten up the team?!

If anything he'd ruck and Kruezer would go forward.
Carlton could do a lot worse but he'd have to take a huge pay cut surely.
