I saw Central United gave Para Hills a fright for 3 qtrs. today, unfortunately their superior Div5 fitness level got them over the line in the last qtr. :)
In other news Para Hills No1 Forward was well held to only 1 goal by one of the units young fellas!

Apparently there was a nasty off the ball incident in the b-grade which has left a Central United player in hospital?

Yeah, the game was stopped with about 5mins to go while they waited for an ambo. A grade started a bit late.

Unfortunately no officials saw what happened but it was described by a couple of Para Hills players after the game as a "Dog Act well off the ball"

The young lad had no feeling or movement in his legs which was frightening for his family watching.

Luckily once the swelling went down hes regained full movement, he was released from hospital today with some bone bruising on a couple of vertebrae.

Incorrect, Hanson kicked 3 not 1.

Again Incorrect, Full Credit must go to Central United they were very good for most the contest unfortunately for them going from a half time score of 8.7 to a full time score of 10.17. Kicking 2.10 in the second half was the difference nothing to do with a fitness at all as for what its worth Para Hills are no fitter than any other side in the comp.
