This weeks tips
Wineflies over Sharks by 5 goals
Shoes over Cobras by 10 goals
Saints over Vikings by 4 goals
Emus over Rams by 30 goals
Cockies over Lions by 20 goals

Reckon saying a lot riding on Vikings game is an understatement - on and off the park and that is not having a drive by at BC

Does anyone know where to see the association squad or can someone post it here?

Coaches Animus, My mail is a 3 - 4 coaches already given their individual clubs notice that they're not going on next year,

If that is the case and clubs appoint coaches who embrace the modern game of pace, high rotations and maintaining possession rather than kicking to a 50/50 contest we could see some exciting footy next year.
Will be critical clubs get this right otherwise they risk dropping further down the ladder and in Happy Valleys case there isn't much further to drop

I hear they are trying to get a former coach to have another crack

Well done to Cove on the Victory over Shoes yesterday , pity all the games in the league aren't as enthralling as yesterday's contest , great game , very physical with the Cobras getting the choccies with literally seconds to go .
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been about 7 yrs since Cove beat Shoes ??
On a side note !! How funny are Ladies Days ?

Did the Shoes leave in a hurry OMM. No goals or best entered online or is that just some typical Cove sloppiness. Amazing ladder with just 1 win separating 1st and 7th.

Question: I know the fixture guy does a great job with the cards he is dealt and cops criticism from people who can't think laterally and was dealt another tough card this year with the late withdrawal of Hackham - but how did Noarlunga end up playing at Cove twice not to mention they have played them twice before playing 3 clubs once. And how on earth did Cove end up with 2 consecutive BYE's in July that come soon after the Country Champs BYE. I know there has always been some fixture twisting to avoid a cluster of non-event games mid season but surely that wasn't as necessary this season with only 11 teams and just 2 that were considered to be easybeats which is how it has largely panned out.

Clubs voted in a 16 games season when it could have been 18.

Flaggies mid season draw is -

27/5 bye
3/6 Aldinga
10/6 long weekend bye
17/6 bye
24/6 Marion
1/7 OSB Lonsdale
8/7 Country Champs bye

18 games and no Hackham still would have meant Byes and another 2 weekends of footy. You could have started on 1 April like we did but where would the other week you needed come from Dutchy?

Correct. Would have been a nightmare trying to find ovals suitable while cricket finals hadn't been completed

Absolute F@*%ING cracker of a game. If Shoes held on I would of said the same but been gutted for our boys as its been a long, long time in beating the Shoes.
Baz was very good too, although disappointed in the loss, he still gave praise to our mob and stayed around for a couple of beers.
Game was Played in great spirit and agree OMM - a tough hard physical game of footy all day that came down to the last Kick of the day.
Wev'e now knocked off Flaggy and just got over the Shoes at home in 2017 hopefully the lads get some belief that our best is now good enough and the snakepit on the hill yields some more scalps in 2017!!

Flaggies made to do the 3/4 time lap of the oval for only being 26 goals up on Marion??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

haha dunno, didn't go watch the seniors, sadly you need to thump them to make sure your percentage is OK, anything but a top 2 spot in the new final 6 system is going to be very tough

Pretty Disgracefully disrespectful if true.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Some 0-0 results in the B grade Saturday .

What was with Lonsdale 3-2 M/Vale 7-4 in the B grade ?

Emus B grade had their score wiped seconds before 3/4 time for too many players on the field...!!
