Draw has been updated with SPOS and Flinders playing this week instead of both having a bye (crisis meeting looks like a formality at this point). Not sure how the league can do that mid season but probably better for the 2 teams to be playing than not. Lots of implications for the ladder if this continues for the rest of the year.

When was North Pines' scheduled bye (or game against PAOC)?

What implications would that be though? NP have won 4 matches and 2 of those were forfeits and the two matches they did win were against the Crabs and SPOS...

Probz looking at the uneven draw as some clubs will play the crabs 3 times and some only twice.

It wont be a simple case of whoever was playing either of them teams will play each other otherwise they may end up playing the crabs 4 times.

At least they're getting a game each week instead of a bye from the PAOC and NP slots.

Would rather have another bye than risk ******* up the fairness of the comp.

Correct, and we're on 8 wins with 3 losses, not 7 with 4.

Yeah can appreciate that part - but as a player (personally speaking) i'd want to be playing more than not as well.

Best case scenario is if the following blokes:

N.Kopecki
J.Wakefield
R.Dawson
D.Young
O.Richards
J.Weetra
S.Scanlon
D.Wanganeen
D.Thomson
S.Damien
R.Hansen
I.Graham
C.Buckskin
T.Ware
N.Peel
A.Harvey
R.Pinkie
C.Webster
J.Benbolt
C.Phillip
D.Coleman
P.Edmead
A.Gentile
S.Lawrie
N.Williams
I.Ansbury
J.Gabell
D.Wilton
N.Peel
K.Fairhurst
W.Wanganeen
J.Walker
P.Rogers
G.Firebrace
P.Walker
R.Benbolt
C.Gollan
L.Marks
A.Edmead
V.Kingsley
E.Edmead
T.Schreier
J.Headlen

Put their club before themselves and field two sides for the rest of the year as they did a fortnight ago.

So what has actually happened out there for this to occur?

Has the club made a stand about subs?

How can u go from two teams two weeks ago to not even one?

Surely there is a serious reason?

What am i missing here as everyone's thought process is that they are shutting up shop?

Yep that was my point. We would end up playing CU and SPOS three times, back to back weeks in both cases (and extra trips out there as well by the looks). CU probably won't affect the ladder but I bet Adelaide Uni wouldn't be happy about SPOS getting an extra game against us and the free win with the PAOC bye seeing they had that last game. Uni's extra games would be against TTG and Para Hills, not exactly fair.

At a guess and reading between the lines form what I've observed, it's a classic case that splits the successful from those who merely survive.

It appears as though it's too few doing too much around the place and it all falling in a heap simultaneously.

Reminds me a lot of Paralowie, Just got renovated club rooms and not enough people doing what was required and all off a sudden the club folds and a soccer club moves in the next week basically.
