Interestingly, port are second least on 29
Geelong have used the equal most in the league (with Carlton) with 36 players.
Sometimes its hard to know what those numbers mean. I dont think Geelong have had too many injuries, but they have probably struggled to work out who are their 18-22nd best players.
Conversely, I think the crows should have picked a couple more players. People like otten and hampton (before he got injured) should have been dropped a week or two earlier than they were.

No, Id have Scott Selwood, Daniel Menzel, Cockatoo, Parfitt, Henderson, Stewart and maybe even Smith and Ruggles in our side. Some would argue Lang and McCarthy would be close too but Ill concede them as fringe. And thats only the last weeks injuries!
If Geelong had struggled to work out who their best 18-22 are there would be a heap of ommissions every week but there never has been, most changes hve been by necessity such as the three youngsters coming in on Saturday.
The only thing I would concede was we seemed unsure early on who our best ruckman was and there was an ommission inolved there from memory.
The fact that Motlop gets a game every week shows how desperate we have been with injuries.

Selwood played a fair amount in the twos right? and Menzel and Stewart only missed on the weekend (though he is out for a while)
J Selwood and Menzel would be the only players you mentioned in the top dozen at the club. So I don't think it's really hurt them that much

Because they keep playing spuds like Neade.
