Their tribunal site has not been updated since 7/6 a bit slow on feedback of what's happening in the competition.

Tribunal site is updated now.

In regards to your headbutt question, i'd like to refer you to the tribunal penalty guidelines for further information ;)

http://www.adelaidefootball.com.au/wp-c ... s-2017.pdf

Please note, Tuck was charged with "Undue rough play" - not headbutting, and took the prescirbed 2 match ban with 1 suspended. 8)

2 match ban, 1 suspended and a get out of jail free card. He should consider himself very lucky for the downgrade of report let alone the penalty from what I saw on Saturday.

Can anyone confirm if there is any truth to the whispers that it didn't actually go to tribunal and instead is was the umpire boss who did some digging around to determine what the offence was? Sounds a bit far fetched and a long way from the normal tribunal process, but that's what I'm hearing.

From what I hear it was Drainer who told Goodwood to tell the league to ring him to validate that he took a dive even though there was slight only contact made. Umpire agreed it could’ve been the case so it gets determined pre-tribunal.

Apparently It’s a trial for 2017 to find somewhere in between a prescribed and a full hearing to save everyone from going to ALDI Arena but its only if all parties agree, if that makes sense.

Drainer and dive do not go in the same sentence, unless you're talking about diving on the footy.
What you hear is incorrect, Goodwood reached out to no provail. Umpires boss rang Drainer to run though incident (umpires report) which included intentional headbut (low impact) Drainer agreed with report.... Between that and the tribunal hearing who knows what happened.

Bloke from salisbury north with a late spoil after the 3q time siren, got him a little high but not much in it. Bloke got straight up and a small push and shove from both teams im thinking made the umpire pull the trigger on the red card. Game was threatening to spill over all day and the umps had no control over it at all. Easily one of the worst officiated games ive seen in my time watching footy. Bloke shouldnt get any games, but hey weve seen swearing get 6 games and a headbutt get 1 so who knows?

... Late spoil after the 3/4 time siren?

Why do I suspect there a bit more to this? SN to be on minus points on Wednesday night?

Apologies to SNFC if I'm completely off on this one - but it was mentioned to me last night that SNFC may be applying to the BLG next year?

Does this have any legs? Probably wouldn't blame them if they did...

This was a strong rumour last year when all their troubles were going on.

With it occurring again this year, I think they will look to move to a different comp next year.

I did wonder if that was the only reason the rumour was rearing its head again...

Do they have netball teams?
Won't be allowed in unless they field the required amount.
In any case I'd be very surprised if the Barossa clubs voted to allow them in

Heres an idea, the 3 Gawler clubs and Salisbury North start their own comp, im sure there would be a couple more Northern metro teams willing to join. You could even have Barossa Districts too, wouldnt miss going to that cold bog hole

The irony of a Angaston person calling Williamstown a cold big hole.

You are completely off. Miles off. A taxi wont even take you there you are that far off.

Simply won’t happen.

Clubs if they have any chance of being admitted to the BLG have to have stringent provisos on them

Mallala wanted to come in the other year, but a vote was taken and they never met the criteria. Salisbury
North are nowhere near the criteria to be admitted into the BLG.

Clubs to be admitted into the BLG “Must Have” League, Reserves, Under 17 and Under 15 sides playing
on a Saturday from 9am.

Also the club must be fenced, as there is a $7 entry to the ground per adult and $2 per child under 15
and pensioners. Players and coaches are given their match day passes which are cards, that are clicked
each round. Clubs take the gate money, which is needed to survive.

Also each club needs between 12 and 19 netball sides and netball courts around the oval.

There is no way in the near future that the SNFC will become BL and G type operators any time soon
