Thanks! So if he left end of June and returned the following season, he'd be zero points instead of 2 then?

based on the way I think it works, if he has played 25 games and is returning the following season then he would be deemed a 0 point player

Interesting only 1 result yesterday was similar to the fist time this fixture took place.

Pulteney having a decent win over Mawson.
Elizabeth smashed Houghton as expected but a 132pts more than the first time.
Brahma had a 10 goal turn around in their favour this weekend over Salisbury West and all but ended their chance of playing finals.
Ingle Farm had the win they needed against West Croydon and from all reports the margin should have been far greater.
TOS 8 goal win yesterday over a disappointing Fitzroy was a 11 goal turn around. TOS look finals bound whilst Fitzroy will now rely on other results.

The top 5 teams look set. Can't see anyone breaking into the mix now.

Big question is - did anyone get footage of the fastest goal I've ever seen in any game of football ever at West Croydon yesterday ?
If it was more than 7 seconds from the time the ball left the umps hand at the opening throw up then I'm a poor judge.

Fitzroy aren't dead yet, they have a favourable draw to close, could win their last 5 - this week against Ingle Farm shapes as their Grand Final though

Must say a big thank you to Elizabeth footy club with the way they treated Houghton on Sat after the game. Quite a few jugs of beer on the bar and hot pies and pasties and some great conversation with some club legends.
Was very hard for me to leave the club, when every time i turned my back someone filled up my drink.
Hats off to Elizabeth and all the best for the remainder of the season.

Hats off to West Croydon on their efforts Saturday setting up their indig round. Uncle Moogy and the Tal-Kin-Jeri mob were really good.

Jumpers looked killer too.

Honoured to have been able to be a part of their wonderful initiative.

Well done to Andrew Tully and Peter Pudney on their respective milestones at Elizabeth on the weekend.
Great to see the Eags get three wins.

And, congrats to Matt Perry on his 200th game for the TOSers on the weekend, the first player in the club's history to reach that milestone. He celebrated well.

Watched their C grade before our game on Sat and felt sorry for Adelaide Lutheran, 16 players on the field with no bench or coach in their dug out. Dont think they troubled the score board but tried their best under difficult circumstances.

I talked to a few boys after that game and they didn't have too many disparaging words to say about the Luthies boys. It's always hard to battle on when you're that undermanned, they did well.

When Mick Emmett has to resort to pulling on a jumper, you know they're hard up! ;)

To be fair, I thought Houghton's B grade also did well to battle on. Severely outclassed, but didn't give up.

Think they have a good coach who would never accept giving up, even know he had to pull on a jumper in the A grade lol

Pulteney B Grade also did well to get a win on the weekend, they were undermanned also - shadow of their premiership side last year, they're doing well just battling along facing the weekly challenges of D6R.

Elizabeth, Ingle Farm, Brahma Lodge, Trinity OS, Fitzroy, Houghton and Salisbury West clearly the stand out sides at the moment and will be hard to beat.

Correct Zartan finally your starting to listen. Funny thing is your so spot on. Only 5 players from last years gf side played on the weekend and 8 players played both B's and Cs due to lack of numbers. Elizabeth, Ingle Farm, Brahma Lodge are all well and truly ahead of us atm which makes the next month interesting with WC, IF, Elizabeth, BL, and finish with TOS who are starting to hit their straps. Definitely going to be tough to hold onto they double chance.

D6R - Ben Clark - 35 goals

Will both these blokes kick 100 this season?

Clark now with 74 goals - 26 to go, could collect a bag this weekend vs West Croydon. 5 games plus 2x finals, only needs around 3 a game to reach the milestone..
