Mate of mine picked up a dead ringer for Tania Zaetta at the Norwood after-party post GF in 97'.

Didn't get as far as he would have liked though, we (me) still joke about what he missed out on.

I touched delta goodrems hand and had a convo one night at light square. Not really relevant to the story just thought I'd share it

I've never seen it, to be honest.

I take it the term was used in that movie?

I didnt watch Ninja, but from the ads, I assumed it was a combibation of Its a Knockout, Gladiators & Man O Man.....in other words, a load of crap.

I wouldnt put Toothbrush in with those shows, it was good value, as was another ch7 show of that era, The Main Event which was hosted by Larry Emdur, & I think ex soccer player Craig Johnston had some involvement.

I'd watch that show if there were ninjas... instead, **** that for a joke.

No, it's just the 'butter' reference in the crumpet/sexy context. It has an infamous (and more recently, quite controversial) scene involving butter and someone's bum. I'll leave it at that, but feel free to read on...

House of Flying Darts, well worth a look for those interested in the world of darts. Watched it this arvo with the eldest daughter (who's a Gary Anderson fan) and both thoroughly enjoyed it.

My brother's been raving about Taboo but he's not an objective voice as he loves everything Tom Hardy is in.

Has anyone seen Killing Time? It was a Foxtel production from about 5-6 years ago that I recently got the DVD box set of it and I love it it's like a crazier Underbelly based on the true story of Andrew Fraser a hot shot lawyer that represented a lot of Melbourne's biggest underworld characters in the 80's and ended up in prison for a cocaine shipment going wrong. All these real life characters that seem too full on to be real like Dennis 'Mr Death' Allen, his brother Victor Peirce and their crazy family.

It's got exceptional acting by David Wenham (Andrew Fraser), Richard Cawthorne (Dennis Allen) and Colin Friels is good too as Lewis Moran.

if you see it around check it out I think Killing Time is better than Underbelly ever was shame it only lasted one season. Only a couple of weeks now until Blue Murder's sequel Blue Murder: Killer Cop hopefully Channel 7 doesn't tarnish the name of that great ABC mini-series.

Good call. Will be interesting to see how this one pans out, although I'm not going to hold my breath. The original was one of the best Australian mini-series ever made IMO.
