Ryder is the best ruck in the comp as per the empirical ruck stats and aggregated anecdotal expert opinion.

I'll leave ya'll do it. I need to do some work.

Stats hey! So going by that Tom Mitchell is the best footballer in the comp because he gets the footy more than anyone else.

Is that how it works???

Bonner is the one from this lot that I am just waiting for to explode.

Came to the club with a bit of hype on the back of a good U18 championships in 2015, and after his debut at the end of last year I had him pencilled in for 10-15 games this season.

Shat the bed massively in this seasons JLT games, and is well back in the pecking order now. Needs a massive off-season to prove that this extension is talent and not hype.

Absolutely love what "Housto" is producing. Absolutely solid as a rock back there.

Interesting that adding McEvoy moves Mumford ahead of Kreuzer.

What happens if you add all of the ruckmen in the comp?

I'd suspect not much. As in, the order would stay pretty much the same and the scores would condense.

If someone wants to add up the scores for the coaches MVP from here:

http://www.aflca.com.au/index.php?id=63

and the SEN votes from here:

http://www.aflplayerratings.com.au/

Then I'll do the rest.

I was also going to incude a ToG somehow as well. Maybe take a proportion off the hit outs, disposals and team clearances.

Back to the Bonner discussion for a moment;

Should Pittard re-commit to the club, we will be left with trying to condense he, Broadbent, Hartlett, DBJ, Houston, Jonas, Hombsch, Austin and Clurey into 6 spots.

A poster on BigFooty suggested we try Bonner as a high half forward? He has great athleticism for his height (191cm), is super quick and has a booming kick- all the attributes required to succeed in that sort of role.

IMO, this is the role that Hartlett should be fulfilling as that player who can mark strong overhead and kick goals from outside 50, but Ken likes him off of half back. Perhaps Bonner could become this player for us?

You have already proven this to be incorrect by adding a single extra ruck.

Very good question to ask. We are definitely stacked down back (Throw JT and Impey in there who can go down back as well). I'd like Hartlett on a HFF but can't see that happening. Bonner has the good disposal behind him as does Hammer. One of those two for me would be perfect at half forward. Even throw one of them onto a wing for White. Wouldn't mind seeing Bonner on a wing & Hartlett at HFF

Struggling with reading comprehension too benny?

Mumford went ahead of Kreuzer because McEvoys hitouts made Kreuzers relatively low number even more "variant".

I doubt adding other rucks would change it all that much other than some minor jockeying for positions.

No. Provided those people read what I've said, understand it, and as a result provide counter points that are pertinent to the argument I'm putting forward.

I will, however, provide ignominy to the ignorant.

But really, what I said isn't really rude these days.
