Have now added in every teams first ruck. Yes, I know once you start getting into the arse end of the comp some teams first rucks change and come in and out. Yes, I know some of them haven't played all year. I tried to pick the player that would get the highest SWARM score.

Here are the results, it appears as though we have all criminally underrated Martin. Kreuzer's inability to either win clearances himself or provide enough of an advantage for his mids to win them really drops him down.

Ryder, as expected, is still a long way in front. He is the best ruck in the competition.

Martin's score proves why people should think this way. I know I didn't have him up there. He doesn't get the exposure or media coverage of others yet hes had an outstanding year thus far.

Don't mean to nit pick, but Sinclair isn't our first ruck. Naismith is and has been for majority of the season

Please read first paragraph.

They're pretty close, I chose Sinclair because he has way more disposals and played one more game. Everything else was pretty much the same.

With the AFL is moving forward, and their absolute thirst to maximise attendance and TV ratings, could we potentially see the Saturday afternoon game become extinct in the future, or be used for the lower draw card sides instead?

Thursday night footy
Friday night footy
Saturday night footy
Sunday afternoon footy
Sunday night footy
Monday night footy

It's my favourite time, I'd also like more noon Sunday games. Night games are a pain in the arse.
The only hassle about it this week is its up against Hawthorn v Geelong which Id rarher watch but miss out on.

I like Sunday afternoon games - it's really the one day where i get a chance to sit down, kick the legs up and relax, watch a game with a few drinks and food.

Depends how badly Foxtel wants the $aturday slot(s) .. If it rates for them and fits their preferred model, they'll remain I'd say

Saturday arvo is still a favourite time slot in Melbourne especially for the big clubs. TV loves it aswell as they can have 3 games back to back. For those 2 reasons it won't be changing anytime soon

Melbourne is the biggest market like it or not so they are always going to get a decent amount of Prime time games and FWIW the lower placed Melbourne sides usually get the crappy Sunday spots. Both Adelaide sides have done pretty well with the fixtures this year and will get similar if not better slots next year

Im surprised the AFL haven;t ventured more into double header FNF....have a Melbourne game start at 6.30pm followed by a Perth game, would get unreal ratings for 2 matches surely....
