I think I can already guess what Norwood supporters will be doing next week.

Maybe if the Ravens worried about stopping the opposition players from scoring goals rather than how opposition fans celebrate them then maybe that could address their concerns....

Adelaide Crows allegedly ask six West Adelaide fans to stop banging the fence during Bloods’ victory

WEST Adelaide fans had plenty to cheer about at Richmond Oval on Saturday, but clearly not everyone was happy.

Adelaide Crows officials allegedly asked a group of six fans in the West cheer squad to stop banging on the ground’s signs after goals during the Bloods stirring come-from-behind victory.

A West Adelaide official told the Sunday Mail the club was approached by a security guard in the first quarter following the complaint.

“We refused to tell our passionate fans to stop supporting their team and Adelaide then told us they would be making an official complaint to the league,” he said.

On the field, the Bloods turned a 25-point deficit in the third quarter into a 21-point victory in an inspiring performance, kicking the last eight goals of the contest. ..

and the Adelaide Football Club wonder why they are the most hated team in the league when they carry on like spoilt little shits who want everything their own way..... Don't like it? THEN **** OFF somewhere else

I'm usually the first to defend the Crows and their presence in the comp but complaining about half a dozen supporters banging the fence is beyond ridiculous and will get the reaction it deserves. Absolutely pathetic!

On a brighter note, a vital win for Glenelg today against a South side that couldn't draw you a goal for periods of that game. I went pretty confident as I thought South would struggle to kick a winning score, but did not expect a 55 point win. With results going the way we did, now a game clear in the 5. Looking forward to having a crack at Port at Alberton next week, we got the points there last year so hopefully can pull that off again.

Official crowd I think was 1,604; a bit unsure though as it seemed to be more than the just under 1900 there last week.

Typical.
I have always said they are a bunch of self-entitled navel gazing brats. It is this thinking that facilitated the idea that they could just jam a reserves side into a passionate, traditional league competition.
Didn't they stop South fans celebrating with their team last year at Noarlunga? They also thought that it would be okay to turn up at the opposition's post games presentations after defeating them! Of course everyone just LOVES the Crows so much, why would anyone object to THAT?
They are an embarrassment to the word "Adelaide", a shit-smear on the foundations of SA football, and to be honest I don't like them very much.

Well, I think you have hit the nail on the head with this comment Flying HIgh. They must have thought the West crowd were going to riot, or even spontaneously combust with all their sudden cheering on impulse without any authoritarian governing body supervising or approving of it.
Obviously not sanitized enough for their liking.

For south fans, how did the big yank Alex Aurrichio go? Saw he didn't get a lot of it but keen to hear about his general play.

Why do the Crows continue to insist on living up to every damn blue-blood toff stereotype there is of the club. Opposition supporters cheering too loudly for their AFL team in the presence of the Adelaide aristocracy and now the club whinging to the SANFL about a few opposition supporters banging on a fence, upsetting the usual peaceful serenity of a game of football. I mean how can you enjoy your apricot slice in such an environment?

Weak as piss!

He has a long, long way to go .....

Needs to read the play better and learn to kick a footy.

I do like he has a bit of mongrel in him though.
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

He'll have to, because Joe Tripodi certainly won't.

Agreed. Surely the sound of six guys hitting a fence was comprehensively drowned out by the clickety-clack of 4,000 sets of knitting needles furiously crocheting Scott Thompson tea cosies.

Very perceptive 'cennals'.
I believe all Norwood supporters would commend Westies fans for their magnificent attitude.
Perhaps we should all be taking hammers and mallets to maximise the decibel levels on signage for the benefit
of these AFL woosies who have no right to exist in OUR COMPETITION.
Then, if their Weslo puppet muppets make any attempt to stop our freedom of expression, these implements
could come in very handy indeed.
