Round 14
Elizabeth v Mawson Lakes
West Croydon v Pulteney
Fitzroy v Ingle Farm
Houghton v Brahma Lodge
Salisbury West v Trinity OS

5x games to go.. only a couple of interesting games this round.

Pulteney will remain 3x games clear on top of the ladder heading into the last month.

Elizabeth & Brahma Lodge will maintain at least a one game buffer over 4th - and could well pull well clear with percentage,

Ingle Farm and Fitzroy will be match of the round - Ingle Farm win they remain in the hunt for a top 3 finish, lose they slip back with the pack. Fitzroy win they keep their finals hopes alive and have a good run home to assist.. lose and it's curtains on 2017 - which would be a very disappointing outcome for the club after all their work during the off season securing "talent".

Salisbury West and Trinity OS the only other match of any interest. Trinity can solidify their spot in the 5 and potentially put themselves within reach of an unlikely top 3 finish. Lose and they invite Fitzroy in to potentially take their spot by end of minor round. Salisbury West haven't been the worst side the past couple months, few huge scalps in there - don't think they can make the 5, but they could do serious damage to other clubs chances.

Reserves
Elizabeth, Pulteney, Brahma Lodge, Trinity OS easy wins.

Ingle Farm v Fitzroy could be a very interesting battle. A loss to the Farmers will open the door for Brahma Lodge to potentially jump them next week with Ingle Farm facing Pulteney.

Fitzroy should do the right thing by Ingle Farm and let them win

Reason I didn't have him in my half year team of the year.. today justified that - rucks all day, yes, but wouldn't be in the top 6 rucks in the div.. terribly average.

It seems the ladders on the SAAFL website are incorrect compared to the scores entered weekly. Some of the point for and against are different to what the weekly results show. Any reason why this would be??

A or B grade? SW lost two points in B grade for playing a bloke on a life ban a few weeks back

It appears to be both. The 2pts for winning are correct from what I can see it's just the points for and against that don't add up the same on the total on the ladder compared to the weekly results. Therefore the % would be different

70 goals in two reserves games, that'd be almost unheard of, wouldn't it?
Only going to be more pain to come for this sides as the season winds down.

I understand West Croydon are struggling to find players for the reserves and they copped a few injuries on the weekend.
Apparently they were calling up former players for the weekend.

I know the Eliz results are stuffed, maybe they've accidentally doubled up that game in the for/against?

Was great to see a few Brahma Lodge players come up for a few beers after the game sat. Good blokes and we had to invite one bloke up for a beer to cool off after he copped a couple of ear massages during the game and wanted to knock out a few!
