Bus trips are what make the footy trip.

Bugger flying to Bali, Gold Coast or even Melbourne.

Plus Whyalla and Mildura have more single mums per capita then anywhere in Australia apparently ;)

Are they still single mums if we venture back there and some look very familiar? ;)

We (Para Hills) are off to trusty old Mildura, (Cant go wrong with the low budget trip to Mildura in my opinion, half the fun is on the bus each way!) Sept 22-24, AFL prelim weekend.

I go to Mildura regularly to see the inlaws...why oh why would you go there for a footy trip!
That's a long way for a country town...

Are you serious? I've been 4 or 5 times to Mildura and once to Merbein just out of Mildura. Half the fun is the bus trip there! I've only been arrested twice both for nudity lol once at Buronga and once from Doms.

It use to be better when the working mans club had the longest bar in Australia but it's still a ripping venue to watch the prelim then head to O'Malleys till you get thrown out repeat this process at the sandbar then stagger down to Doms to try your luck.

Can't go wrong.

Mildura is an exceptional footy trip venue. I haven't been on one in 6 years but will probably go on ours this year. 2 Houseboats in Renmark- What could go wrong???

O'Malleys was legendary! It was like Shennanigans on a footy trip!

I see you're point.
Gol Gol Pub is a good spot for an arvo on the punt.
How were you nude at Buronga? Was that after a session at The Edge?

Sounds heaps better than another trip to Mildura.

Sorry we're not all high rollers. :(

Not high rollers, just well organised.
$550.00 is exceptional for footy trip to GC. $150 deposit up front and you have all season to pay the rest off off. And if you behave, you may get $80.00 back. Have Booked through the Footy Trip mob since 1999, all too easy if you are organised early.
Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts....

Not me, where were you flying to?

I happened to be in Tassie the same year as Para Hills (I think) one year - I think they got kicked out of Wrest Point, they were all in Maccas in Sandy Bay one morning and overheard them talking about it.

I have a feeling Mrs Pag may be just about due to give birth to their first child. ;)

This.

Done 10 straight. Mildura, Mt Gambier, Geelong, Mildura, Warrnambool, Darwin, Noosa, Melbourne, Cairns, Gold Coast. Geelong is unanimously voted as the best trip we've had in the last 15 years, is a great spot, big enough to consistently venture from pub to pub and club to club but not that big that everyone gets completely separated. Similar for Darwin, and Cairns has Gilligan's that you only need to leave if you're on the punt. GC Turf Club took good care of us the day we spent there too.

I'm getting sad talking about it.
