The irony of a man who in his debut season kicked 1.20 calling 46.30 inaccurate.

To be fair I persevered, you showed an ability to kick goals at training but you found new ways to miss as time progressed.

From memory it wasn't until you were about 1.14 that you mentioned it. Then you became L. Jetta before L.Jetta was cool.

Not sure it was the end of 2008 or early doors 2009 when you kicked 2.0 in one game. You have never looked back or played much up forward since. :D

I may have opened the door enough for you to unleash the story of Powerbandgate. 8)

Just a minor qualm...

Mitchell Park have missed out on 2 games now due to forfeits - that other clubs have not. Form, revenue and team continuity aside - this will obviously have an impact on individual awards...

Is there scope to wipe the votes/goals out for those games (other than for club records of course) when considering these things? Is there a smarter method we can use?

Yes, it's called the luck of the draw.

Just like in seasons where there are only 8 teams in a comp, some teams you'll play more than others. Get the bottom team an extra time and your mids pick up more votes in the medal and your forwards more goals in the coleman.

Or just say you play down south 9 games a year, vs 9 games a year up at trinity. That 80kms impacts rainfall and therefore ground conditions. Higher scoring games out north mean easier to win the association goal kicking, etc.

We like the luck of the draw, just like we like the oval shaped ball. Sometimes it bounces for you, other times against you.

I don't bloody like it! Conditions, team strength are what not are swings and roundabouts. Having 8 less quarters than a rival to compete with ... way more swing and not any roundabout in that one.

Ah well. You're probably right in that there isn't anything anyone can do.

Knowing our luck one of our guys will miss the award by a vote.

No disrespect intended, the lower the grade your in the more these things crop up.

Para Hills should probably just rest up now. Job done. They've booked in a top 2 spot with a home final and Adelaide Lutheran have pretty much sewn up top pozzy.

Hanson, Cree, Buss and Holland should be put on ice and wrapped up in cotton for finals.

Rae needs a run however. Put him at Full Forward.
