Champion player.

Took what I still rate as the best mark I've seen v Sydney.

That's the one where he runs back with the flight of the ball with no regards at all for his own safety?
Sensational/courageous mark.

Yep. Phenomenal.

All the attention on Nick, but all I've bloody heard is Dangerfield

It was very selfish of Nick to announce his retirement during Dangers MRP findings...

We were talking about that at tea tonight who's on the rung?

Tom Mitchell?

I seriously can't think of any others that have been consistently outstanding.

Crouch has good numbers but certainly not for mine, Sloane and Wines will get a lot of votes early. Zach Merrett? Kelly?

Mitchell and my smoky would be Cotchin.
Imagine if Cotchin won it... he would be the best bridesmaid ever... steve bradbury-esque

Gets handed the 2012 brownlow after finishing equal 2nd...
Gets handed the 2017 brownlow after finishing third...

I appreciate what the AFL is trying to do with reducing incidences of concussion, and personally think PD's a bit of a flog, but hate seeing him get rubbed out for that.

Concussion is a possibility in almost every sport, it's unfortunate, but it's the risk so many choose to take at any level. Think this was just one of those unfortunate occurrences.

He should have been suspended twice also for those gut punches that other players get suspended for

I hope Danger gets the most votes in the Brownlow so the AFL is forced to look at the fairest criteria for winning the Brownlow. Hopefully it forces them to look at these tackles too, you should be punished for your actions not the outcomes

Why should they address the 'fairest' part now?
McKernan and Grant would like to know...

Because there are more reports in the modern game for things that wouldn't have even been looked at twice in past. Anything involving the head is a couple of weeks whether it is malicious or not
