Unexpected.

Were my favourite band through high school so will be a nostalgic evening. Was too young to get into Heaven the only time they visited Adelaide, now I'm counting the grey hairs. 8)

Admittedly it’s a very different line-up to that era, but Puppet Strings from a couple of years back wasn’t bad as far as straight forward rock albums go.

Playing 'Full Circle' in it's entirety.

Not my fave album but could be worth attending.

I went to see New Found Glory tonight at the Gov, the first time I've seen them in a concert after seeing them three times at festivals. They played their two of albums, Catalyst and the hugely popular Stick and Stones in full. Great gig.

That backs up Friday night when I saw Pete Murray for the first time. He played his new album Camacho aswell as all his hits. His setlist on the night was longer than I thought it would be and he sounds fantastic live. Was great to finally see him in concert after being on my wishlist for a long time.

Now I'm really looking forward to Grinspoon in three weeks time. I also have Less Than Jake/Bodyjar and Pennywise down the track.

Grinspoon killed it Saturday night. Guide to a Better Living is an album where it doesn't have a song I just want to immediately skip so hearing it played in full live was awesome. Throw in other great songs like Chemical Heart, Lost Control, Hard Act to Follow, 1000 Miles and No Reason made it a great setlist. The sound was real dodgy during the opening song Pressure Testing 1984 which was a little off putting but they fixed it up quickly and it was a very memorable concert.

Agree with all, Pressure Testing 1984 is a "scratchy" kind of track though so no surprise that was a little off.

On another note, quite liked Hockey Dad, that kid can hit the drums!

Loved it Sat night, first time Ive seen them on their own. Great production all up, very sharp.

Went to Thebby Friday night, 1st time since Foo Fighters in 2007 I think, brought back some memories. Jebediah were awesome, plenty were disappointed they only played for 30 mins though, one guy absolutely lost his shit and stormed out.

You Am I are just an outstanding rock n roll band, so under rated.

Hoodoo Guru's were pretty damn good also, Dave Faulkner more chatty than Ive ever seen him, Tim Rogers came back to finish the night with Ballroom Blitz which was different but excellent.

Purchased Something for Kate tickets last week, next gig to look forward to.
