We will struggle against the wiggles BUT in our favour is the fact that they have the minor premiership sewn up & might take the last match lightly.

I'd be very surprised if you get within 5 goals of us at the Parade but you never know

That game worries me as much as the other two. Dogs have played Norwood Oval fairly well in recent times, and ladder position means nothing when they play us.

South's side v Power Reserves:

F: Ellison, Davis, Raitt
HF: Barnes, Crabb, Hunter
C: Veide, Heaslip, Gulden
HB: Szust, Fields, Rankine
B: Haines, Durdin, Rose
R: Bass, Cross, Liddle
INT: Schwarz, Redigolo, J. Taylor, Moyle, Cailotto

IN: Raitt, Hunter, Cailotto, Moyle, Bass
OUT: Brown (back), Rolfe (knee), Aurrichio

Rolfe and Brown's wretched luck continues. Aurrichio was named in the best (using the term loosely) against West, but now finds himself in the magoos. Odd.

That forward line will struggle to kick more than 7 or 8 goals (in dry weather), hence the Power reserves should win by a heap.

From the Belconnen Magpies, Wharton has played 35 Reserves games since arriving at Prospect for the start of last season. In a team that just got thrashed, Aurrichio had more hit outs than Port's entire team and had a game-high 13 tackles (only one other player had more than seven).

That ruck dominance and physical pressure would have been real handy in the league game.

1/2 time

PAPR 7.3
SA 3.3

Davis 2, Raitt 1 the South goal kickers. Didn't utilise the 4-5 goal breeze in that term. No forward targets apart from an under-sized Davis.

And we keep banging it in either too high, not direct or to a 1-on-2 situation. All of that being an issue with not one tall down there to mark.

I'd chain Ellison in the 50 for the second half. He's a very strong mark and at least will provide a tall target.

We'd be stuffed without Crossy & Lids.
