I'm the opposite, I can't get into Steve Carrell - as a comic actor. But as a straight actor I reckon he's pretty good. His performance in 'The Big Short' is great (which is a bit of a funny role, but that's because the character's a bit eccentric). And it's great film too, by the way.

First I watched Jurassic World- Meh
Second was Full Metal Jacket- Awesome film!
And this afternoon I watched Trainspotting 2- Meh. I recently watched the first on Netflix but I must say I got bored with the second.

Left to watch-
There Will Be Blood
Concussion
The Magnificent Seven
Doctor Strange
The Accountant
The Fate of the Furious

Planning to go to Dunkirk at the movies next weekend and it looks like it will be a good film.
Updating my list-
The Accountant- Solid action movie, liked it.
Doctor Strange- The start got me very interested but overall I found it very Meh. Benedict Cumberbatch does play Doctor Strange well though.

The Accountant is a quality movie.
I watched the ' The Nice Guys' the other day. Thought it was pretty solid.

I finally caught up with Hidden Figures the other day: loved it. Was probably the most emotional I have got about a movie since The Help.

Lord of War, had a mate recommend I watch it. I watched it tonight, I'm not a huge fan of Nicolas Cage but it was a interesting and entertaining film.

I also finished off watching Rocknrolla last night.

Saw War of the Planet of the Apes today, was good but not as good as I expected with the hype. Love the trilogy though, has been done very well.

Nerdland on Netflix.

Probably an acquired taste. And definitely don't let the kids watch it.

Baywatch... it is ridiculous and it certainly isn't a classic. But I actually enjoyed it.

Saw "Logan Lucky" on the Saturday night. Pretty good without being amazing, definitely an entertaining take on the heist movie genre. It's pretty much like "Oceans 11" excepts with hillbillies and NASCARs.

Terminator 2 3D, still a great movie although the 3D was a bit unnecessary.
