The two closest to them are suited to smaller-ovals with bigger bodies. The best team to match them on a big oval would be Kilburn IMO.

That said, I think it'll be a Havens v EP GF.

They did rest a couple, but we were missing 4-5 as well and were in front from 5 mins into the second quarter onwards. Probably our best performance for the year but came a bit too late. Went 6-3 in the back nine, 9-5 since round five. Starting 0-4 was just too big a hurdle to get past.

Quick report on the Kilburn Dreamtime game. We obviously got up. Jumpers specially made for the day looked great.

Special thanks go to the Smithfield players, supporters and officials who hung around for the welcome to country, performances and presentations after the game and got into the spirit of things.

We had 9 indigenous lads in the As and I think 6 in the Bs. Smithfield would have had a fair few as well so it was a fitting round to have it.

We started it but hoping other clubs or the league jump on board with the concept.

I also heard the same, put in context, not a great year and pressure mounts, no-one likes to under perform and its always easier to blame someone else, plus typical lawyers pissing in his ear so they have a new client Monday morning doesn't help.

Townies hoped for more this year and under delivered so you are always going to get guys blame others, as Eddie said buck stops here, 2018 is a new year and great opportunity, hopefully a great new facility and we are up, up and away.

The club will take full responsibility for not taking 5th spot. Took Heccies lightly early and were probably lucky to get the win in the end after being 5 goals down at quarter time.

Eastern Park won a thriller by 6 points in extra time.

EP and Morphies have had three very close results this year and it's abnormal that the away team have won each time.

The Gepps Cross v Salisbury B grade game went into extra time aswell I was told by one of my mates who plays at Gepps. Salisbury kicked a goal on the siren to send it into extra time and they got up by a goal.
