I am in the cash in third spot, which is $100

1 in front of 4th (which gets zero), and 3 behind first that gets $500

wonder whether i should roll the dice

unless there is a swing of 30 points on the margin friday night i wont finish third if i drop a single tip too

reckon i go the same as bertie.

Offered 2 weeks but due to bad record it stays at 2.

How long does the "bad record" hang around for?

Reckon it will get scrapped after this year. Just about every week there is discussion about it

Unreal! I swear Tom must've banged one of the MRP panels members wives or something. He blocked his path FFS. His original 6 for his hit on Gaff was massive overs too.

To prove its not a Port bias, I thought Ollie should've gotten 2.

Disagree on TJ, I said at the ground on Saturday it was at least 2. Was way off the ball, he lifted the shoulder, got him head high, had to be a suspension.

I agree Wines was very lucky.

EIGHTEEN players will enter the new season with bad Tribunal records, with stars Alex Rance, Jordan Lewis and Luke Hodge among those treading carefully.

Under Match Review Panel changes introduced for the 2015 season, players who have been suspended for at least two matches in the past two years will have one match added to their base sanction.

No club has more than two players entering the year with a bad record, while five clubs have a clean slate.

As has been the case for the past two seasons, there will also be a three-strikes policy for low-level classifiable offences, such as a low impact strike to the body.

Players can accept a $1000 fine for a first offence and $1500 for a second offence before receiving a one-match suspension for all subsequent low-level charges during the season.

Players to record a first strike during the JLT Community Series were Liam Shiels and Kade Stewart (Hawthorn), Jarrad Waite and Jy Simpkin (North Melbourne), Paddy Ryder and Hamish Hartlett (Port Adelaide), Jeremy Cameron (GWS), Will Schofield (West Coast) and Mitch Duncan (Geelong).

The number of matches lost through suspension has been trending down since a record high of 112 in 2012, dropping to 104 (2013), 75 (2014), 57 (2015) and 45 (2016).

The numbers of Tribunal hearings and players suspended have also been declining, with record lows of five and 30 respectively in 2016.

What happened to the outcome to the player being taken into account?

It clearly wasn't that big of a hit as Daulhaus was able to play on unhindered.

Blocked his path?
With an elbow to the head!
Slow learner is Jonas.

2 is about right.

The impact was definitely his shoulder but he still lifted the elbow.
Either way he's a very slow learner.
You don't want to be losing your spot come finals time, and Trengove or Hombsch will gladly take his spot.

2nd silly incident for him......You expect more from your leaders surely?

What's happening with Hombsch? Always had a big opinion of him as a player, but haven't seen him near his best this season. Carrying an injury?

Interesting scenario discussed on Melbourne radio. If Geelong beat GWS & Richmond beat St Kilda by enough. Geelong will play Richmond in the qualifying final at the MCG.

2 is about right.

Turn it up he gave him a nudge to body check him and keep him in front, as all good defenders should, and Dollhouse tried to milk a free.

How he got 2 for that and Ollie nothing for something that was actually dangerous has me absolutely beat. If you had a little tacker playing what would you be more worried about?

The MRP is an utter farce.

The MRP is an utter farce.

It wasn't close to a nudge, he's knocked him high, deliberately with his shoulder to the head, miles off the ball. The bloke's got form for high hits when opposition players aren't looking. Fully deserves his whack.
