Port v Sturt and Norwood v Glenelg potential double header week 1 of finals, come on SANFL, promote the 5hit out of this. No AFL, double header at AO, needs to be 20,000+

Massive thanks to the SAFC for inviting us to play our home game (u15's) as the curtain raiser at Hickinbotham this Saturday before South/Crows.

Especially considering we are not in their zone, they do a lot of things right down there off the field. :YMAPPLAUSE:

Thought that, or make the double header a twilight elimination into a night qualifying.

Apart from the GF,
nowadays finals should be played in the suburbs and not as double headers.
The time has passed for this old thinking/ strategy.
Crowds will bomb again at AO as most followers will leave after the first game.
Time to create some suburban atmosphere with promotion and much needed income.
Maybe next year we will see a change.

With fine weather the SANFL should definitely be aiming for this figure.

If it is a 10,000 plus crowd it would be worthwhile turning the lights on.

Bloody good idea.

Over to the SANFL now.

Hopefully not. All stakeholders need to be considered in this.

SANFL players and officials deserve the opportunity to play at Adelaide oval given their emotional and time commitment to SANFl footy since Nov the previous year.

No SANFL oval apart from Woodville has the the space capacity (changerooms wise) for double headers (Potentially four different clubs with senior teams playing at the same location.

Spectators need to be taken into consideration but the people who commitment to their SANFL club for over 10 months a season do to.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

It is for this reason League finals continue to be held at the SANFL's best playing field....plus as a neutral who wants to trek to Elizabeth or Noarlunga to watch some footy between 2 teams they don't support?

Do the teams get to use the Port/Crows rooms or get chucked into the cricket rooms?

If Port or Crows are playing they get to use their rooms. Everyone else gets either the cricket rooms or the away AFL room
