Example- Bob Murphy, seems a ripping bloke, Good half back flanker, spent a long period of time at the top of his game. Champion- No way.

another champion label was given to Scott Thompson.

Just cant believe the 'labels' being handed out to 'some' of these blokes.....

Jack Trengove is an interesting one.
I guess injury has held him back but he looked early on to be a good player.
He was a top 5 draft pick from memory wasn't he?

THE WESTERN Bulldogs have made another list change with third-year wingman Declan Hamilton delisted after never playing a senior game.

The lightly-built 21-year-old, who is the nephew of Darren and Andrew Jarman, was emergency on two occasions this season but he struggled to regularly challenge for a senior berth because of indifferent form at VFL level.

Hamilton is highly skilled and has a sound football brain, appeared to struggle with the physical side of the game.

Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney thanked the South Australian for his time at Whitten Oval.

Who's hanging up the boots? Keep track of 2017's retirements and delistings

"It's a credit to Declan how he handled the transition from South Australia at the end of 2014," McCartney told westernbulldogs.com.au.

"We'd like to thank Declan for his service to the club, and we wish him all the best for the future."

Hamilton, who had a soccer background, was taken with the 39th pick in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft after representing South Australia at the National Under-18 Championships.

He played 58 VFL games over three seasons, averaging 16 disposals and kicking 40 goals.

Hamilton was also a member of Footscray’s 2016 VFL premiership team.

With Hamilton joining rookie Josh Prudden as delisted Bulldogs looking for a new club, it leaves forward Stewart Crameri and midfielder Mitch Honeychurch as only senior-listed players without a contract for 2018.

Robert Murphy and Matthew Boyd have both retired.
