True, I feel better knowing I don't think like the Collingwood board does. :D

2 more years of a $hit game plan
I haven't renewed my membership for a couple of years - 2 more to go

Hey Buckley: it's no use having a game plan that relies on players kicking a maximum 15m when your players cant kick the distance accurately

And its no use winning the last 5 games when we've already missed the finals

All the talk at the start of the year about Champion Data rating them the best midfield seduced many into thinking that meant they were top 8 material when another look at them would have shown they are very short of key forwards and would struggle to kick winning scores.

Now they better get cracking a find him someone to kick the ball to and make Moore's life a little easier.

They've had 6 years to get better and are still shit. How can that be a pass mark?

I'm trying to think like the board, why they reappointed him, maybe they know the list is rubbish and think what he did with them this year was enough?

Yeah but surely 6 years of mediocrity should not be rewarded with a 2 year extension?
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Could of had James Stewart for virtually nothing. Overlooked him first as a F/S and then last year when the Giants gave him up for a pick in the 70's. Costing less than half of what Mayne is on

Can redandblack and his mates come and take over the Collingwood gig?
At least Mickan won a premiership in the past 3 years

Buckley?
2012: 4th
2013: 6th
2014: 11th
2015: 12th
2016: 12th
2017: 13th

The only two times we've got the wooden spoon, the coach was a premiership captain - Weideman (76) and Shaw (99)
Buckley might make history

No footy club does.
I'm OK with the decision as there is no outstanding applicant available.
With the right people around him I reckon we'll go OK next year.

I hate to pick on you MW I rate you mate but god almighty this type of thinking drives me bonkers.

Constructive criticism and even appropriate levels of protest are absolutely a valid tool for a member of a football club to utilise. If change is needed, how else is a member supposed to express their desire to initiate it?

Happy clapper sycophant rubbish is not healthy. If anything the member that openly speaks up about the need for change and acts upon is a better "supporter" than the one that blindly adheres to the faith.

"To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men"

So be it. Not renewing a membership is valid, if the situation is dire enough.

If Port people would've rocked up in numbers routinely through the dark ages and continued to buy memberships, we would probably still be at Football Park. Heaven forbid.

Sometimes change is painful.

You mean one that's been a member since 1970 when my father signed me up at the Grand Final
and went to the 1970, 77 (x2), 79, 80, 81, 90, 02, & 03 Grand Finals
Had pictures of McKenna, Price, Tuddenham, Tully, Richardsons, Wearmouth and Thompson on my walls as a kid?
Probably owned one of the very few Collingwood guernseys in SA
In Hong Kong, my door bell was the Collingwood theme song
At 2yo, my son could sing the Collingwood song

Maybe they should think about supporters like me a bit more

I gave up my 30 year SACA membership 10 years ago when they tried to charge me $300 to transfer my son from junior to senior membership. That got changed when I made a stand
