Dar just guessing and was rattled by the ball before when he inexplicably gave Warner out after smashing it into his pad.

Kawahja was just Dumb !!! Fact is he didnt even play a shot so should've / would've been called Dead Ball anyway so no point in running.
Just a brain Fade

Lyon unlucky as well with his LBW. Left arm around the wicket you need to straighten it up to get an LB imo. Basically slid straight on towards leg.
Long takes a guess and no benefit of the doubt and fires him. Always reckon might watchmen and lower order batsmen get the shit end of the stick with LBWs
Ball tracker shows its clipping.

Unless you have a Jason Gillespe in your team, i just dont see the point of using a Night watchman.

Good call JJ. Aussies seem to have a lot of umpires calls LBW decisions go against them on sub continent

It does seem that way doesn't it?

Jesus cry me a river boys. Maybe if you used your bat instead of getting hit on the pad all the time. You guys lose on the subcontinent for the same reason we do, because you cant play spin well.

You can always count on our tail end to resurrect the innings in some way or other.
We may not knock over the remaining runs, but we'll certainly be in a better position than some other teams if their innings collapsed like this.

Batting last on this pitch is going to be twice as hard.

Correct, dropkicks like Warner smell like roses on flat tracks and smell like dogshit when they have to apply themselves pn a tricky pitch.

Yep lucky our tail can bat. These two have shown some real character and application to save us from complete embrassment. Yet again it's the top order that needs to pull their finger out!

His flat track bully status continues to grow.

Interesting stat on the coverage yesterday.

In the last 10 years, the Aussies average 26 or so with the bat in Asia.

That was the worst out of any team. Even Zimbabwe were better!

The worst batting line up since the bad old days where Border had to prop up a miserable line-up (ala Smith in this team). Renshaw is the only shining light, whilst Handscomb has temperament and is worth persevering with. Warner doesn't have the brains to bat on anything other than a true wicket and we do not have a #3 or #6 anywhere.... maybe Head needs fast-tracking?
The saddest part is that this mob gets to play in front of sell-outs this summer and will take it as kudos for their efforts when in fact people just attend Tests for the event.
At least Englands batting order has as many holes as ours does, and it will be fun watching Cummins, Starc and Pattinson fire up in the same game!

Use to be India who were the flat track bullies but it's definitely Australia now.

Doesn't help that you play on the flattest wickets in the world here in Australia, as soon as there is any movement you are cooked. The great example is Davey Warner, only good when he can hit through the line on a true wicket.

Bangladesh 4/135, lead by 178. Iqbal out for 78. Usman Khawaja bowled the first over after lunch so Pat Cummins could change ends and the first ball of his new spell he gets Iqbal on review bowling an absolute cracking delivery to just flick him on the glove.

Batsmen absolutely smashes it back straight at Lyon who it clips his fingers and runs the non striker out. Brendan Julian " that's lazy work by the Bangladesh Skipper".
Bit harsh.
