Well done Joe.

A little surprised Zach Merrett wasn’t top 3.

Trade Wrap -

In: Devon Smith, Adam Saad, Jake Stringer, GWS 2018 second round pick (as part of Devon Smith deal)

Out: Jobe Watson, Heath Hocking, Brent Stanton, James Kelly, pick 11 (as part of Devon Smith deal), pick 30 (as part of Jake Stringer deal), future second round pick (as part of the Adam Saad deal), future third round pick (as part of Devon Smith deal)

The completed deals:

- Secured former GWS player Devon Smith, the Giants 2017 second round pick (currently 25) and the Giants 2018 second round pick in exchange for pick 11 and the Dons 2018 third round pick.

- Secured former Gold Coast player Adam Saad in exchange for the Dons 2018 second round pick.

- Secured former Western Bulldogs player Jake Stringer in exchange for pick 25 (originally obtained from GWS as part of the Smith deal) and pick 30 in the 2017 National Draft.

In a nutshell:

Assuming the Bombers and Giants finish relatively close together on the ladder in 2018, the Dons secured Devon Smith, Jake Stringer and Adam Saad for pick 11, pick 30 and a future third round pick.

Draft picks:

2017 – 48, 67, 85

2018 picks – 1st round, GWS second round, no third round pick, 4th round, 5th round etc.
