The West Croydon Football Club are very pleased to announce that Michael Annese has bee appointed as the Senior Coach of the WCFC for season 2018 and forward.

Michaels playing background as a player spanned Norwood and Port Adelaide Junior ranks, through to under 19's and reserves and then with Glenunga Football Club and Glandore at a senior level.

Michael has coached Glenunga, Walkerville and most recently Portland Football Club.

Formal introduction of Michael to players and members both past and present will be arranged over the next month.

We welcome Michael Annese to WCFC.

Well, he couldn't do much worse than the clown who was coaching this season.but you get that when you have ego maniacs running the joint...!!!

Pretty harsh, he stepped up at the 13th hour because the original coach couldn't go on.. No one else wanted the role.

Exceptional player, perhaps not a great coach but at least he had a crack to help the club.

I'll happily take his ego off your hands next year, he's most welcome at the Farm.

Villa if you're reading this.. gimme a call, you'd slot nicely onto a HBF.. my people, talk to your people.. come to agreements..

very harsh,villa took on the job when the club needed him to,to win a associaton medal as well as coach the team was a magnificent effort,i coached him for 2 years & hope to do that again next year,great player & bloke to coach.great leader on & off the field.

Because Edwardstown and St Mary's is much more convenient for the 2 Northern clubs playing there.

Given the unfortunate events at the Angle Vale/Ingle Farm GF a few years back I suspect putting it far away might actually be a deliberate act (not pointing fingers)

Wont stop our faithful making the journey.. will be the same as the B grade GF couple years ago - they'll come in droves.. Farmers love a GF - they dont come around often

I was thinking the same thing....to far to go wont get as many supporters there causing any issues

I think this is 100% correct. I am biased, but Kilburn and Salisbury are two of the best places to watch footy in Adelaide, it's a shame that some idiots in the past have ruined any chance of GFs being held north of the city in the foreseeable future.
