F**king oath.

But stand by everything I posted above. Lost all respect for your club coach. Obviously hard feelings between he and Hughes? but, I don't give a f**k laughing at a 40 odd year old bloke who has his heart on his sleeve never dirty and given plenty back through junior footy over many clubs is bullshit.

Enjoy your cheap laughs.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

The head is sacrosanct.

Savage from BL got 6 weeks for accidentally collecting a bloke in the head with his arm which had a footy tucked underneath it. Yes, actually had possession of the ball and got done for 6.

So you can see how lining up a bloke in the head without possession of the footy would go for 10.

I've seen the photo - was no elbow, but high contact was made with the shoulder.

Premiership player, captain, association medalist, junior coach. He's done a lot of good things for Ingle Farm over his journey, shame it ends like this.

Important lesson for players though - stick the tackle instead of bumping. My pet hate.. can't stand when players are too lazy to tackle and bump

Hes got away with his fair share over time. Catches up eventually

Laughing at a bloke he can never play again, I pity you. I never picked you as a bitter piece of s**t guess I was wrong. F**k wit.

James Hughes may be many things a filthy or even dirty player certainly isn't one of them. As Bedge discribed above coaches kids as a volunteer also assisted Para Hills juniors even tho he coaches another clubs juniors. Nothing but respect in my book. As far as I know never even been reported and the blokes about 108 years old. By he's own account hit him high yes, but with no entend and arm was tucked in. Wishes it never happened obviously anyone would.

But inallseriousness you laugh away mate hope karma f**ks you over piece of s**t[/quote]

Cheers for the rant and personal insults. Thanks also for the abusive PM....made my day!

I'm guilty of laughing at a bloke who I have a history with. I'm guilty of seeing the same bloke in a very different light to you. I'm not guilty of resorting to personal insults to make a point.

Enjoy your day, I won't lose any sleep over your name calling or losing your respect. I have never even met you.

I am calm. I didn't rant and rave or abuse anyone. Surely I am entitled to respond to the vitriol?

carey is defending a mate who he feels is being slighted. He has also just lost a granny and probably been kicking on a bit. Bit of empathy on all sides wouldn't go astray.

Haha...not the only one who has just lost a granny mate.

But...whatever! I won't give it any more credibility. Play on!

I think the lesson is, make sure your granny uses her air conditioning everyone. They're dropping like flies around these parts!

Bloody hell, I go away for one day and you all start turning on each other.

My take:

It was never going to be a lean sentence

I received a PM from a mate who wasn't at the game but who'd obviously heard about the hit through the wonders of social media. I didn't even know who the reported person was at that point, as I was too busy but the message from them read " If I had to put my house on someone, it'd be James Hughes"

What's done is done now though. Moral of the story is don't f*** up in a GF (or anytime for that matter)

Now can all you f***wits please stop calling each other f***wits  ;)

Love how there are 2 sets of rules for SA Footy. Guess it's who you know.
As for the Tirade thrown at Inallseriousness, I will say that we all have a lot better knowledge of James than you do Carey. Maybe drop him or don't give him a coaching job, then you may see what a s**t bloke he can be. I find it funny too, and if you have a problem with that, well, you know where i am, or just go ahead and abuse me. We all now know you won't get banned. ;)
