Finals week 2

Talk on the national game

Can Geelong please beat the cows next week?

After some time to reflect, as disappointed I am with our efforts last night and our inability win a contested ball was horrendous. But full credit has to go to Geelong, they outplayed, out worked and out coached us. To many of our players were poor. Rohan may be the worst ever finals player. Massive down hill skier. I don't think Buddy wasnt100%, looked out of it all night. Our midfield was well kept and had very little impact. Rampe was a poor match up for danger but he was stiff early because even a stiff breeze was going to give danger a free kick.
All in to come from 0-6 to end were we did is a great effort, for 18 weeks we were as good as anyone but we ran out of steam. Bring on season 2018.

Hope the Tigers win it from here

95% of the time the team from the bottom 4 finally shits the bed in the 2nd week of the finals if they have to play interstate. Reckon WCE will cop that tonight too which I hope I'm wrong.

Exactly. The way the media reports this is ridiculous. Instead of saying that two good mates are having a bit of banter, they find the most dumb and inflammatory tweets and use them as part of what is a non story.

15-all I say. Plan on.

Both having a bit of fun. Just on that earlier in the year Caroline Wilson went on to the media and said that players at Geelong behind the scenes were confident they had Adelaide covered when ever playing them. Nothing was made out of that and then when there is a bit of shit talk between mates then the media goes nuts.

Disgraceful crowd for a final, don't think Sydney fans understand it's a Semi Final not a semi filled stadium

A bloke at the pub had a theory that GWS and Geelong worked out last year that going straight into a prelim with 1 game in 3 weeks isnt the way to win a flag.I laughed him off but am having second thoughts now.

Newtons 3rd law of motion - "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

Well that applies to footy as well it seems

After apparently coming off the Greatest season EVER for great games and close and amazing finishes, We now cop the SHITTEST FINALS SERIES EVER with boring crap one sided matches.
Even the close match was SHIT with only the closeness of the scores making it exciting.
