Atmosphere at Petaringa today was as good as you'll see in the Adelaide Footy League. Huge crowd and fantastic atmosphere.

One way or another at 6. pm Saturday 16 PNU juniors will be D1 premiership players, only question is whether they will be wearing red or white.

I really want to emphasize our views on the TTGFC. We aim to emulate them. We have spent the best part of 5 years learning and following. My view is they're the best Community Football Club in the state.

Between the crows on Friday and the Falcs on Saturday **** me it's going to be a 24 hours

First div 1 game ive seen all year. Take out the second qtr and PNU probably win by 10 goals. Langford was good with 6 goals but thought Donohue was BOG. Last time i saw Jolly was a few years back when salisbury were in div 3 with PNU and he looks even bigger now. Did a lot of work to allow Langford to have such a good game. TTG need someone to help Melville as often 3 on one where as Payneham had Jolly Langford and Davis as options forward. Saw last quarter of the B grade and Adel Uni got a few interesting calls to kick goals in the last, looked like a good contest.

Rostrevor reserves blokes would be pretty dirty at the non-mark call

.... and the two soft frees Uni were paid 15m out straight in front that resulted in goals. It's a pity that mark wasn't paid. The lad would have kicked for goal after the siren to win the game from about 40m on a slight angle. Would have been fun to watch, but never eventuated.

Last time I went to that I fell down the stairs twice resulting in a concussion and broken arm.

Will be staying well, well away.*

That last quarter was some of the most one sided umpiring I've seen. Unfathomable that the mark wasn't paid on the siren.

If The Big Shrek turns up he and his entourage will be in the VIP area again. A few free drinks are exactly what's needed after working up a sweat jumping the fence to avoid the exorbitant entry fee.

Any chinks in the ROC's armour or do they have it in the bag?

Macca's qualified. He can play himself and do a Stewart Dew on a few of the Roccers to even the odds.

There is always that option to keep them guessing. :-)
I see the big man is averaging nearly 3 goals a game this year, so they'll have to keep an eye on him. If you guys get up, it will be a mighty effort from 4th. Hope its close, trying to hatch a plan to sneak down there.

PNU have come from further back than fourth. After 10 rounds they had only 3 wins and at that stage avoiding relegation seemed a more likely scenario than playing finals. Since then they have won 10 of their next 11 with the only loss being to Goody Saints in round 13. They smashed ROCS last time they played and over the past few weeks they have got even stronger with the inclusion of Tom Langford, who has kicked 12 goals in 3 finals and Tyler Brimacombe. Their three tall forwards of Jolly, Davis and Langford will cause ROCS plenty of headaches. So, we have PNU will a full head of steam up against a well rested ROCS. I expect ROCS to have the advantage in the midfield, but if PNU can break even I think they can get it done.
