Heading in for a full tour on Wednesday but the parts I've seen so far certainly make the old RAH look so antiquated it's not funny, even the most recent TQEH development completed around 7 or 8 years ago looks aged now.

I'm hoping I never need to see it TBH
I f..king hate hospitals...been in and out of them to visit loved ones over my 40 years to last a lifetime.

Gentleman Jack Snelling is going to quit at the next election. F***en weak prick obviously knows Frances Bedford has got him dead in the water and is doing the true weasel thing.

Mr Snelling said he was proud of his achievements, listing the new Royal Adelaide, the contentious Transforming Health reforms, changes to third party insurance and, as Arts Minister, the success of the Adelaide Festival.

Gobsmacking arrogance. He should have included $2Bn in budget deficits and getting sacked by Weatherill

Frances Bedford should be the next Governor. The State owes her a debt of thanks

And Vlahos doing a Rankine and getting out before ICAC finds her incompetent.
Ah but, her super is obviously not enough yet so she's going to remain in Parliament but in the Upper House where she will escape the judgement of the people

I bet Smelling gets some high paid jobs on some NFPs like Foley
The comrades like to look after their own even if they are highly incompetent which both Snelling and Vlahos are

Michael Pratt nailing it in Letters to the Editor
Cunning genius

WHAT a tactical genius is Jay Weatherill. The biggest issues going into the March election are health and energy. Jack Snelling’s polling in Florey showed he would lose his seat to independent Francis Bedford. Why spend $200,000 campaigning and suffer an embarrassing loss?
Leesa Vlahos, embattled former Mental Health minister couldn’t fufill all her executive duties and resigns via a letter.
Jay had already endorsed her for Number 1 spot on the Upper House ticket as Ms Vlahos takes the place of Peter Malinauskas who picks up the two health portfolios.
Jack picks up a $245,000 pension indexed for life, Ms Vlahos picks up $2.1 million for eight years and never has to see another constituent.

No doubt about it, Jay is a cunning genius.

Former South Australian state MP and Lower House speaker Peter Lewis has died.

He served in the SA Lower House between September 1979 and March 2006.

Mr Lewis was elected as a Liberal candidate but was expelled from the party in 2000, after speaking out against his own government and then-premier John Olsen.

He was re-elected in 2002 as an independent, and supported Labor to help it form government under Mike Rann, becoming speaker of the House of Assembly in return.

Could blame the Liberal party for riling him in the first place.

TRUE

He certainly gave it to Olsen big time
Not sure anyone could keep him happy. Strange cat.
Some of the stories that were going around about his life are mind boggling (and I'm not casting aspersions about anything bad)
