What we are really praying for MT_79 is a Choke-alition from the Crows.

Looks like I'm cheering for the Crows, just got a SMS from Adelaide Oval saying a lot of shifts will be cancelled for Sundays famiky day if the Crows lose!
Go Crows! (Preferably after Richmond lead for three quarters to give me even more spending money)

Why change the rules for a GF?

It's supposed to be the best game of the year, gives every opportunity if 1 side is disadvantaged by an early day ending injury.

While we are at it, let's have 36 each team and they can swap 18 players every quarter OR if someone in the opposition side gets hurt, the other side could lend them a player ala under 8's

Well it is the NFL Lite after all, so maybe do away with all the reserves, academies and other bullsh!t and have lists of 36 and 32 can suit up each week.

Wanting Adelaide to win, not because I support them but because they have been the only top-four side this year. None of the others would have made the top four over the last six or eight years (last year maybe excepted).
It is akin to 2007 when Port where the last opponent standing.
Adelaide by 12 goals.

No, what we need is an offensive and defensive side for each team. The umpire will be instructed to stop play at each turnover, to give teams a chance to swap sides.

Maybe start the game with a kickoff, instead of a ruck contest.

The offensive team gets 4 goes at getting down the field. If they are unsuccessful on the 4th attempt the other team gets the ball at that spot. The offensive team gets a choice of using their 4th attempt to kick the ball to the other team.

I like it.

Port beat Hawthorn in Tassie and Geelong in Geelong in consecutive weeks turning around 50 and 40 odd point losses to those sides earlier in the yar, beat the 2006 premiers the first week of the finals after finishing level with them ( a classic game if you can be arsed ) and slaughtered the Kangas in the prelim.

It was Geelong, Port/West Coast or nobody that year and, sadly, much akin to this year Geelong were on a mission that day while Port were still riding a wave from a couple of seasons earlier, we did earn our right to be there that day. Lucky, hey?

This week, Adelaide on a mission, Richmond riding a wave from just winning a final.

serious question Booney. From memory you guys beat west coast by a small margin? if the Eagles didn't lose Cousins and Judd early how'd you reckon the match would have played out? I always thought WC were the better option for Geelong that year

3 points, kicked 3.5 to 2.1 in the last quarter. Was a tight one all night, about a goal or less at every change.

Yes, they were certainly hampered by the tow champs going down. Cousins and Judd went down almost right on 3/4 time and Port made the most of that for sure.

Definitely easier for people who live in Adelaide to support the Tigers but I would guarantee in Melbourne a massive percentage would be going for the Crows.

You think the media love for the Crows in SA is bad, multiply that by 100 and that's what it's like for non Tiger fans in Melbourne currently.
Would be unbearable over there this week and look out of they win

Definitely, I agree it depends where you live.

It's why I kept telling the missus, form aside, that the Crows fans would really want GWS to win last weekend.
