I'm not sure what people expected from the presser? A detailed explanation from Ryder on what occurred? A blow by blow recount?

The lack of signage, or t-shirts ( ), people have read something into that?

Anywho, it's about as disinterested as I've seen someone in a contrite presser. Paddy reads the statement prepared by the media department with not an ounce of conviction is his words but that's what happens in stage managed "pressers".

With how poor it was they really shouldn't have bothered.

I'm more concerned what colour his sneakers are if he was wearing jeans.

Nothing more to play out, geez anyone seen the shit people get away with in our legal system? You can **** up time and time again and get a slap on the wrist.

Ryder will come out with a good behavior bond, maybe some community service.. life will go on, by Feb everyone will have forgotten about this incident.

Nothing to gain except highlight that media reports and rumours are grossly inaccurate and stop speculating?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't - if they didn't do a press release people would be asking why they haven't and what are they hiding.. or that it's worse than first thought blah blah blah.

Yeah probably haha! I just don't care that much to be honest - people make mistakes and stuff up all the time, I don't really care much for what footballers do off the field - I'm only interested in how they play.

Ha, I fizzled out last night, we let the kids stay home in exchange for a weekend night.

On the flip side, having 3 dry nights a week now, we're on a mission!

They addressed the ill informed speculation. They stated they'll not make any further comment while it's on front of the courts.

Again, was nothing special but what did you want?
