Not to mention Ryder was sitting at an angle of 180 degrees. Coincidence? I think not.

Also, did anyone count the syllables he used in his presser? Yeah. Suss!

Maybe no club stuff because they just had a meeting with the lawyers and came straight out? Maybe with sponsors on and off they haven't got any appropriate apparel?

Maybe a whole bunch of stuff.

Maybe they're in the process of changing sponsors and didn't want to wear apparel with old sponsors on it e.g. Renault?

JACKSON TRENGOVE is free to move to Whitten Oval as a free agent, after Port Adelaide today declined to match a contract offer put forward by the Western Bulldogs.

The 26-year-old has played 153 games since joining the Power with pick 22 in the 2008 National Draft.

Winning the Gavin Wanganeen Medal as the club’s best player under 21 in 2010, a year spent seeing plenty of ball in defence in 2011 saw the young Trengove tie with Travis Boak to win the John Cahill Medal.

A member of Port’s leadership group, Trengove was moved from his traditional defensive post in 2016 to cover the absence of Paddy Ryder in the ruck, and this year played primarily as a forward.

The Western Bulldogs lodged paperwork to secure Trengove on Friday morning, with the Power given a three-day period to match the offer.

Port Adelaide's list manager Jason Cripps said the club wished Trengove well with the rest of his career with the Bulldogs.

“Like all big men, Jackson took a little time to find his feet at the elite level, but by his second season he was a regular in AFL side and in his third year he won the John Cahill Medal,” Cripps told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“Jackson is a natural leader and those qualities shone from the moment he arrived.

“We’ll always be indebted to Jackson for the leadership he showed in 2012, choosing to stand by the club and his teammates at a time when Port Adelaide was struggling in a lot of areas.

“Jackson has been offered a great opportunity by the Western Bulldogs.

“It’s a difficult part of this industry that sometimes you have to say goodbye to great people.

“Jackson has made countless friendships at Port Adelaide that will remain strong. He’ll always be welcome back at Alberton.”

To the great supporters at PAFC,
At the end of the 2017 season I walked out of my exit meeting knowing that it would be the last time I would walk through the Alberton doors as a player for the Port Adelaide Football Club.
I've always imagined what my last day at PAFC would look like. I thought I'd be in my 30's, playing my last game after announcing my retirement, thanking and waving goodbye to you all on the Adelaide oval.
As someone who is fiercely loyal, I always thought I'd be a one club player. I made this decision when I was overlooked at the end of the season when I felt like I still could of been a strong contributor to the team.
By leaving now, I am leaving with my head held high, satisfied with my efforts on and off the field and still believing that my best is good enough.
It was an honour to be a part of the PAFC culture. We have had some really good times together. Thank you for the love and support you have given me over the last 8 years, especially all of the messages of support I've received over the last few months. Although I can't respond to every single one, I read them all! I still believe in this club and I wish you all the very best for the future.
Last but not least, my new home... The doggies!!! - Thank you for the opportunity. This is a football club I really felt believed in me from the get go. A fresh start could not come at a better time and I can't wait to get down to Whitten Oval and train with the boys
Bring on 2018
