A mate of mine told me that Bicks said on the radio the Crows are going for 2 more players and we’ll have no first rounders the next 2 years. Anyone else hear that?

Many years ago all they cared about was their own club, now their obsession is keeping the AFC on the front and back pages!

Yep, hard to believe people are still talking about the Crows after their whirlwind trade period. No posturing at West Lakes, just fast talking and swift dealing. Really good job of closing deals early so there is no chatter around.

C’mon they still think it’s 2016 and are offering Carlton the same deal for Gibbs again.
Carlton told them to get **** last year so why would this year be any different.

2 x 1st rounders and he’s yours.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

- Sam Landsberger

CARLTON today believed it had agreed to send Bryce Gibbs home to Adelaide until a misunderstanding between the two clubs scuppered what appeared a certain trade.

While Gibbs is still likely to become a Crow by Thursday's 2pm trade deadline, the Blues and Crows must meet again tomorrow to sign off on the deal.

The Herald Sun understands that Carlton was set to send its superstar midfielder as well as its 2018 second-round selection to the Crows.

In return the Blues would net pick No.10 and Adelaide’s 2018 first-round selection.

The Blues also believed Adelaide’s 2018 second-round selection would be sent back. Adelaide did not believe that formed part of the deal.

Talking about it now and seems there was a massive misunderstanding.

There was actually a player this year for our womens side who was apparently a transgender - I don't know if it's true or just people making crap up.. definitely looks "man like".

I saw the lady in question at the prelim final and (even with beer goggles on) I discerned that, yes, she was transgender.

Rowey (I know, I know) said this morning that the hold up in the deal with Gibbs was Carlton thought they were getting 2 x 1st rd picks AND a 2nd rd from Adelaide, which they would then use for Kennedy. Crows thought it was 2 x 1st rd picks but a SWAP of 2nd rd picks for 2018.

Either way, it is massive overs.

I've also heard Crows thought it was 2 x 1st rd picks but we get Carltons 2018 2nd rd pick back.

I don't think this trade will go ahead.

Will be atleast a dozen go through today.
Weller looks the most unlikely, Freo want a top 4 pick and have knocked back Matera plus 3 picks in the 20’s already
