I actually think with that draw they can have a legitimate crack at playing finals, with a depleted list in 17 they knocked off arguably the strongest sides, got close many times while having a somewhat tough draw.

I think Port will struggle to make the 8 FWIW.

2017 horror injuries & tough draw aside, if we’re making finals next year there are quite a few very, very ordinary sides going around.
I’m more than comfortable where we’re heading, but there’s a bit of pain & patience to be had in the meantime...
