Agreed. I can safely say I've never been on a date, and never will.
I had my in-laws from overseas earlier this year, and they decided not to join us at the footy, so Mrs. C and I could have a 'date night' at the game.
I said "**** that, I'd rather go to the footy".
My in-laws are great people, but I'm glad I've only seen them once in 9 years. My mother-in-law is a bit full-on for my tastes, and likes to call everything an 'experience'. For example, we went to Red Rooster at Southern Cross (I didn't; I went and got some sushi instead), and she kept saying "This is my first Red Rooster experience'. For ****'s sake, woman, you don't
experience Red Rooster, you eat it.
I also get royally ****** off whenever someone mentions a 'bucket list'. **** that movie.
