The Goss hears Noarlunga the possible destination for a couple of MV deserters!

Also, anyone heard any whispers of a possible altercation at the Shoes on GF night involving players against players? One with a Crows-link who won't be returning in 2018.....

Great night at the Shoe GF night with a huge crowd and great vibe ,as for altercations with players v players way off the mark.

Ask the SFL president that rocked up and enjoyed the night.

That's a normal Saturday night in footy season at the Shoe isn't it. It's called male bonding in 5168.

Possibly be a couple more I believe, certainly not deserters but they wont be running round in 2018 for the Emus........2017 Captain is also on an overseas holiday for a fair chunk of 2018 season is the word.

Issues not handled correctly is what is causing the transfers. Iljcesen would have stayed if things worked out, this isn't any reflection on him and he certainly didn't poach Smith and Noble.

Not sure you can pin this one on Illjcesen. If Morphies had done their due diligence, they would have known that player and the incoming coach did not have a good relationship, based on the their time together at Victor. I'm not saying you don't pick a certain coach because of one player, but then you can't get upset when that player decides to leave. It was always going to happen as soon as Murdoch was appointed.

As for the boys leaving, they can probably see the writing on the wall if all the rumoured departures are true. Smith and Noble have been loyal for a long time so why not cash in when given the opportunity. May also be about helping out a mate as he takes on a new challenge. Good luck though. Macclesfield have got a pretty poor reputation when it comes to club culture......

Some big ins already at Happy Valley, new coach new players, great crop of juniors. Some of the clowns reported to be from Happy Valley on this forum must be choking on their comments

Heard nothing but good things about the incoming coach. Haven't heard about the new players you mention. Any names? Nothing listed in clearances at this point. Hopefully the negative voices are being displaced.
