Being an SA boy or not has nothing to do with working in the programs, or the impact/input he'd have. :?

I think you've misinterpreted my thoughts.

It would be strange for him to come back to Adelaide just to play for us on a one year deal so I figure he must have something lined up with Pauly and the boys to even consider the move back to SA. Good luck to him if he has, can't we just bypass the year on the list though? :D

You guys don’t have to pick him each week. Surely there is no guarantees he gets a AFL game.

I'd say there is very little chance...very little.

Draft or rookie list, I doubt they would do either of those options

THE PORT ADELAIDE FOOTBALL CLUB has agreed to terms with its remaining out-of-contract players ahead of the 2018 season.

Midfielder Jimmy Toumpas and Rookie-Listed players Will Snelling, Peter Ladhams, Jarrod Lienert, Cam Hewett and Emmanuel Irra have all agreed to new contracts to remain at Alberton.

Next season will be Toumpas’s third with the Power after beginning his career at Melbourne in 2013.

Snelling and Hewett joined Port via the 2016 Rookie Draft.

Ladhams and Lienert were selected at the 2017 Rookie Draft while Irra arrived at the start of this year as a Category B Rookie from Port’s Next Generation Academy Zone.

Watched Irra a couple of times at the Magpies this year and he looks out of his depth even at SANFL level.

Should have been delisted on the spot when he fumbled an uncontested handball off the mark 2 years ago that resulted in a direct goal in the 2nd Showdown.

I'm not lying when I say I haven't seen even a C6 footballer **** up such a simple piece of play before. Ever!

Calling him a spud is really an insult to spuds. It's disgraceful. Worst player EVER to pull on a Power guernsey, and we've had our share of ordinary ones :?:

Fellas in all truth I think he has some ability. Has great running power and when his head is on right is a good user of the ball. I think the power are hoping he grows a testicle or 2 and that he stops being scared of girl scouts.

Nobody has "depth" anymore, not since the Suns and Giants were born in a board room, every side struggles when the best 22-25 aren't available.

Adelaide, the best team all year with what many will say is the best list simply isn't the same when Seedsman replaces Smith and Otten replaces McGovern.

Yes, we've lost some players who fit into that 25-30 bracket but like all clubs they're not up to being regular contributors at AFL standard and the blokes 30-38 on the list are kids developing to work into that 25-30 bracket of which we have some with AFL experience already.

2 out of our best 22 we'll cover with little damage ( unless it's Ryder ) and 3 or 4, like most sides, will cause us issues.
