Just having a quick look at other comps and the Churches are playing their 2nd round of the 20/20 comp and Great Southern are playing

Other than that, every other comp has the weekend off by the looks of it

Won't happen as a number of grounds have primary school cricket on them beforehand and a number of games wouldn't finish until 12.

Anyone on here from Keswick?

Would like to know where the B grade game between them and Ramblers will be tomorrow. Surely the turf deck at Saratoga won't be playable and since you've got so many other grounds that have been used lately there would have to be one that's available.

League just sent an email out saying if the oval is available and both teams agree they will allow it.

I heard teams were thinking of forfeiting the test weekend game. Disgrace if true.

Bit harsh. No football competitions play on AFL grand final day. I imagine it would be hard to get lower grade teams together in particular. Higher grade teams are easier because you can always pull players up.

Odd decision to play on that day.

Yeah it is. But for a very long time you always played on test day... But to forfeit your top sides is a shocking look.

Keswick suggested in an email that all teams be given a drawn result to allow people to go to the test.

The leagues options were to have a bye on the day of the test and play on the 23rd or 30th of December, or the 31st of March.

Porties have approached Sheidow Park in the hope of an earlier start but if it doesn't happen we will run with what we have available.

Some lower grade sides may struggle to get teams together but I doubt any would do it out of spite.

Apparently pfcc are interested in forfeiting. Will be disappointed if they do

WYC pulled off* a remarkable win on Saturday.

Chasing 227 North Haven were 4/186 until a spell of 4.1 over, 3 maidens and 5/6 had them all out for 204 after losing 7/18 and the last 4 wickets for 0!

I did read that yesterday on FB - mate wrote that they were 3/187 chasing 220 before crumbling lol.

Outrageous result haha! Although that WYC side is pretty reasonable this year isn't it?

It's a crumble, for sure!

Not sure about the WYC side mate, been too far removed from it for too long to really know.

Yeah cheers for bringing it up Booney. Absolutely disgusted with what happened Saturday, we were cruising to victory and well on top at 4/186. Then we just completed capitulated, guys playing stupid shots and throwing their wickets away but credit goes to their leg spinner who came on and took 5/6!! Completely turned the game on its head. WYC's first win of the season and we just handed to them on a Silver platter.

And Bedge- Jake Finch was the last wicket, caught behind as I watched from the other end, he was adamant he didn't hit but he hit the cover of it lol.
