Exactly what Kersbrook need if true Double Trouble. They lack pace, massively. The reason they seem to struggle against Nairne the most, in recent years is they get exposed for pace. Could be enough to give them
Another tilt at a flag.

Wow they're massive outs for Bridgewater.
What about McDonald? was his injury in the prelim serious?

Wanted around $1K a game when we spoke to him. Doesn’t come cheap that’s for sure

Get your hand off it Fev :D Nathan Krackwhore was not approached by Mallala. I think you and i both know that a bloke of his calibre would be a better fit up the road ;)

The clearance page has a few long serving big names leaving the Meadows kennel (Wade back to Marion, Thomas stepping up to Div 1 at Mt Barker). No juniors last year which is surprising for a growing country town ... how's it all gone down hill since their 4 peat of a decade ago ?

I cant help but think that Thomas moving to Barker from Meadows is along the lines of some form of joke. I cant imagine him ever moving from that club.

Not a joke at all. Has signed with Mount Barker, offical on their Facebook page!

I'm guessing it's to better his footy, and not have the weight of a whole (struggling) club on his shoulders. I seriously doubt anyone at Meadows would hold it against after all he's given for them already, been their best player pretty much as soon as he came up from senior colts.

All the best to him

With the locals having returned to gumeracha in the last 12 months, what are the chances of the likes of hutty returning from kersbrook, Jardine from golden grove and the pertinis from hope valley all coming back also? With kavanagh in darwin and sam hanna at centrals youd think these guys would be their best chance of getting back more of their own and not recruiting from outside sources

In my opinion i cant see any of those players returning. Gumeracha would rather spend there money on outside sources than focussing on getting locals back home.

Have heard Torrens Valley are still a chance to fold.
Any truth to this?

A lot of moving in the league, probably more going out than coming in from what I've heard!!

Not really surprising considering pretty much all of there A grade team has left. Unless the HFL give them lots of extra points they would have to be in big trouble.
