The underestimation of MJ's pull is why you all think they must've come for cash.

No, I think they've come for cash because some have spent the past two summers shopping themselves around - not shy to ask for top dollar. They approached other clubs not vice versa.

Either way don't know why i'm discussing whether they're paid or not, honestly doesn't matter - I don't understand why payments are still viewed as such a taboo topic to be honest.

Where is a club after it’s worst year in a fair while going to afford to pay players.

They drew straws on that, no one did well but some did worse than others. We've been found out now , that's how we're getting all these new players.

Michael is a good coach, but he has managed to sign 10+ players this year already. When he left Glenunga, he didnt bring a single player with him to portland. He has developed this pulling power well in the last 3 months.....

he did try & bring some across mate,simple fact is they were not keen on playing div 3 reserves,knew they would struggle to commit to play A grade at div 3 ,simple as that mate.think portland have themselves to blame for all this anyway.
